hiya.... i had something similar a while back on my previous valver, turns out it was the fan switch and not the head gasket as had first been thought.... flushed system, replaced switch and stat and was fine... eliminate the cheaper, simpler possibilities first!!!

i love that car!!!! i think they suit the car too... they are lush, as is the rest of the car! however, if i were putting those wheels on my passat i'd have to get the audi badges removed from the wheels... thats just me....

yeah... i know.... just not a fan of that part of it... dont like seeing things with audi or porche logos ie on wheel centre caps on a rado, or any vw for that matter.... or the other way round just my opinion, not having a go....

morning all!!! quick question - hopefully with a quick and easy answer!!! new valver has Konigsports at the front and height and ride adjustable Koni springs at the back.... prob is the back currently sits higher than the front and needs levelled out... am refusing to raise the front so i need to find out how to lower the backs and what i need to do it.... any ideas how to do this? am gonna try and contact previous owner to get more info on exactly what set up it is.... cheers! :)

i spent half an hour furiously testing bits on the new one to try and find something thats wrong... its un-nerving driving one that works after driving the old one.... cant find anything.... gonna go drive her and try again.... :)

dunno what to do about the grille.... i didnt like the look of it in pics but in the metal its much nicer.... am gonna spray the mesh black and see if that helps, if not i have a 3 bar grille, black badge and eyebrow spoiler that can go on her...! its looks like that photoshop u done of the old one on the Borbets, Chris!!! :lol: so yes, very smart.... :)

hmmmm..... see, i think you have to split them all up into 2 groups... the Rados which only appear in your dreams - ie Lees, Jays and Bens (cos face it, how many of us can afford those kind of interiors/wheels/paintjobs/engines...?) and those which genuinely you could own/develop your own C into something similar -Kevs, Toms and Furkis for example.... I love Lees for the sheer quality of the finish.... VR6s for completely changing my mind on blue rados.... Furkis for just being utterly stunning.... NickVR6s for just being a lovely example of how a rado doesnt need to be flash to turn heads (even tho he doesnt think it is any good...) OSVs for being lovelier in the metal than in pics - and its bl**dy stunning in the pics.... M15 VWs for showing us girlies can produce a car as well as the boys can, no one mentions it much on here but its a fantastic C...! theres just so many, and all for different reasons.... or maybe i'm just a bit sad and love them all... :oops:

em... am not 100% sure but some models (dunno if this is an early/late or vr6 issue) are set to come up at 55mph... tho this can be changed by doing something to the relay????? (please dont all shout at me if i am wrong....) Daves new C brings its spoiler up at 55, but i honestly havent noticed on mine which is also an L reg... maybe its an aqua blue vr thing... :wink: i prefer the look of it down in pics too... looks prettier...

Cheers matey... couldnt get a pic with the Borbets as it was 11.45 and a bit dark by the time we had finished.... will get her polished up (she is utterly fadeless...!) and get daylight pics up ASAP.... the wheel is a Kahn, dunno which one but it is lovely and will be being kept for now - had planned a black and red momo.... she's done 160k, but the interior is immac... am well chuffed... :)

finally!!! she's here....!!! have been waiting 8 weeks or so to get my hands on her, but finally yesterday i made the trip up to Blackpool to pick her up.... and she is lovely.... was incredibly sad to see my old valver go :cry: , but i couldn't not buy this one as it was more or less the exact spec i was hoping to get mine too... good luck to davecash who i am sure will give the previous one a good home.... and so.... heres Ruby!!! looking very standard at the moment as i havn't had time to sort lights and stuff... although we did manage to get my Borbets and seats on her tonight! am hoping to get the back bench to match my seats, will lower the back more as she has a bit of a 'nose-down' stance at the mo, top-tint my lights again, tinted side repeaters and a few other bits... am very, very pleased though with the ride and handling considering she is lowered... the Eibach anti-roll bars are the dugs nuts... so to speak!!! and the even better news is the 16x9's are on and dont rub!!! yay!!! so no huge rush to get arches done... the rest of the spec is in my sig... anyway..... hope you all like!!!! :)

give her bit of tlc and you'll come to love her....! I, like Dubby, spent my first 6 months of Rado ownership looking at the back of an AA van (and RAC... Green Flag too for that matter!!!) but when she was fixed and I drove her all was forgiven....! Am gonna cry when her new owner drives her away tomorrow... chin up... its all worth it!!! :)

I know... but hes not supposed to get her until Santa's been.......
