  1. Im currently letting mine rot as the saying goes, but i do still love it and thats the problem, but i dont love it for been a Corrado that nobody knows what it is or its special or all that nonsense, i just love the way it drives so raw and unrefined, just how a proper performance car should be.
  2. On a remapped K03s you will achieve pretty much your target BHP and in a 1500kg TT its rapid even driving the 4 wheels when it does and i bet it would give my car a run for its money very easily so in the slightly lighter Corrado shell it will be awesome. When they are mapped as well i think [and i cant remember exactly which one it is] but the DBW or the VVT will map slightly higher on a stock engine so it just means a few extra goodies bolted on to achieve your target power if you get one without, but it is alot easier to install the non DBW.
  3. Also to add that even at £60 it is a bargain, i would pay £100 for it.
  4. Thanks for the inspiration on what im planning to do except i am in lazy mode still. Good job you have that thinking chair...

  6. Just the bolts Jon, mine is under immense pressure comparitively speaking to yours i would imagine so thought best to do them, i never skimmed the head either as people were saying it will not seal properly but it seems fine to me. I got the bolts from GSF about £12
  7. I for one do not believe for a second this guy is 16.... :ignore: We need video evidence of the 16 year old doing some of this work, i am a sceptic for sure.
  8. I kinda did that mistake in the sense that i had to take the head off once it had been torqued up including the 2 90degree turns, just bought some more to be safe, engine never turned a beat and put new ones in. Still going strong now almost.
  9. I was going to post up earlier but i cant help really, mine is not just pipe bends, its a bugger to get on and off though i know that much, takes a good couple of hours to get it back on, i have to thread it up from the bottom twisting and forcing it around all the crap thats in the way, but the route you are trying to take is where mine goes. Try to find some pictures of Andy Waites white Mk1 Golf engine bay, look at how the pipes have been cut and welded many times to form a really tight radius.
  10. The mystery of where did the wheels go is solved, the sultan of michigan has become disillousioned by the cars and has now invested in some scene points and invested in the Renshaw rims.
  11. MOD EDIT. Link might be a little NSFW.... http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/923036.htm
  12. I was going to say i have seen similar with the girl in the Ferrari. The lambo lady gets out of the car far too elegantly :ignore:
  13. I could be interested in it mate, PM me some details. It is bad to be out of pocket i agree and understandably hacked off about it at least he posted up on here to explain which alot of people would not do. Anyway its all water under the bridge you have moved on and almost got an awesome rado on the road once its MOT'd :D
  14. ^^^^^ I can say this guy is not a rip off merchant at all too, just a genuine balls up happened all round.
  15. [strike:330icd9f]Ah well ok so i think i am coming to the Pod in my Corrado  for its last outing before it gets pulled to bits, to see if i can improve on my times, hopefully it will be working right this time and get those 13....something numbers i always wanted.[/strike:330icd9f] Well im out of the running in my Corrado, just been out in it and foobared it :( its one of three possibilities... 1 - Boost hose popped off, had a look and cant see anything a miss 2 - I think it has an N75 valve on it, thats faulty or if there is another boost control device faulty 3 - Finally abused it too much and lost compression or something, but it sounds ok apart from like it sounds like it needs oil but it has not blown any out Thinking and hoping its one of the 1st two though as its making randomnly between 0 and 0.5 bar of boost lol and AFR is reading ok. Such a weird feeling driving it though, the throw is mega long on the shift, felt like i was sat in my van height wise, rattles and vibrates like hell, but whilst it was boosting right none of that mattered :D all that compared to the TT.
  16. Just remember your driving license and £20 to sign on + £15 to get in the show
  17. Well to be honest its all about getting off the line right, thats where all the times are lost, i have done 15-16 second quarters too just spinning too much on the launch, i know i will do that again. Best thing to do is to push it down the queue so its not getting all heat soaked, and i was talking to a guy who is very good at drag racing and he said he would prefer a hotter day for the better grip and a loss in power, like i said the time is lost at the launch so it makes sense.
  18. Yup he is the biggest leg end i know :luvlove:
  19. Yep thanks alot Kur2y, you take it easy buddy. :salute:
  20. that's spooky - you look EXACTLY like my mates girlfriend. they are both swedish; you're not swedish are you?! That's an original chat up line  But what he is actually saying is he would like to ahem his mates Mrs, or already has done, and would, again. Sorry :D
  21. Sounds right to me mate, its a high boost level as its only a small turbo so the only way to get some power from them.
