woooooohooooo about time but there is a car missing.
-
Thats what i am hoping for and its minus 7.8 volts currently lol. I need to buy a charges 1st and im not bothered about it yet or do i need to do it sooner rather than later.
-
I love and hate at the same time how easy you make things look. Any chance of you making some caliper carriers to fit my Seat Ibiza Brembo's onto a TT? Please
-
How long you had it on as it will change sound as time goes on getting deeper. Is it straight through then no boxes on? Looks good
-
I am the chosen special one  I definately had the voltmeter on the right way round, im only worried cos the management on 1st initial try with the ignition on was making some very strange noises along with the window control unit, also the dash lights will not come on and nothing works at all but as im not getting any voltage to the ignition switch im hoping thats the only reason why, i just did not like the noises things were making. Oh dear....

My battery was flat so got the jump leads out, im rushing the job and not thinking, got them crossed on the terminals on my car not the jump vehicle, never tried to start it like that but the ignition was on. Now getting -7.8 volts out of the battery, is it just a screwed battery or will it have damaged anything else?

Your going all soft now and i thought you were hardcore and a menace to socirty. -
So why is it in bits? Looked mint last i saw...
-
You got it looking the same as mine. NICE :D
-
You look strangely familiar too Chris???
-
Oh and what tax bracket is that in then? Runs on water nearly so thats good but the gases it gives off must be real schit.. :D
-
Oh and your going to be selling up now you have a new ride like everybody else does, lose interest in the C. I can see you like the mod cons better and the ride to work will be alot more comfortable.
-
 Looks like he needs better gearing to get off the mark better to clear that pole...
-
Your in the same preciciment as i was, i also did not want to be driving a Corrado anymore but i do still love it hence why i still have it and plan to just make it a proper hardcore car for whatever really, its a toy basically not a car now. So i got the TT, nice and sensible 180 not the 225, best thing i did, basically removed alot of stress from the home life.
-
1st dibs on the cheap 4x4 bits :D
-
Thats actually the best idea yet, rebuild the car to however you want ie 12v, then realise its not what you want and carry on stripping it down again to fit the 32 :D sorted...
-
A happy home life/marriage is way more important than any car/engine combo but as its only a project car it should also not matter too much when things do not go smoothly as ever they never do and you WILL have issues with the 12v turbo too at some point, i just think there is no rush to get the corrado on the road as you do have alternative transport.
-
But the air thats entering the engine is going in pressurised so although it is the measurement of restriction its still going in at that. Boost = Torque
-
Yep they can be swapped like that.
-
I had a Mk4 Golf Map sensor on mine at one point, cant remember what bar it was but i was running 1.5bar on the engine. Then dont forget the remap that will be needed to suit.
-
Glad your chin is still up Dan.

Well that was basically my thinking too, reminiscent of the motorsport rallye stuff etc. Then with the cage to add any chassis stiffness possibly lost.
