Yandards' Nugget G60 - gone but not forgotten..
junkie replied to Yandards's topic in Members Gallery
Sold on a budget, more like made on 1, thats why not so many were sold due to the high end price tag. -
Not sure haw far you want to travel but Crooksey used these about a month ago Wide Wheels he says they did a brill job, PM him or look on his members thread for more info.
-
Not quite the look i had in mind tbh, i dont like it  only kidding, looking loads better, get some more pics up when its settled properly and lowered slightly.
-
My definate least favourite toy.
-
Well that depends on how old you are but no im not in my eyes, i shall be 28 in July. My Mrs says that makes me an old timer, she been 21 in August.
-
I would say 1'6 bar is way too much for that turbo, i run an IHI VF22 @ 1.5 bar and thats pushing it to its limit for reliability tbh.
-
It is when you realise its TPFT, 5K a year
-
How the hell do you just wash the underside?
-
They look like MIMS to me, i wanted a set when i had my Polo GT, but im not talking about those wheels in my post above by the way :salute:
-
It all makes sense now as to why your building the budget VR turbo so you can have the expensive wheels on  or you putting them on the rat.
-
Just got my renewal quote through and its £420 so its gone up £20 and that is going from 4 years to 5 years no claims and i am already over 25 so thats me getting onto them again for more insurance haggling fun.

Ah well i cant give all my ideas away now can i :nono: -
I couldnt find any info on the wheels though but they probably are RH's and VR6 is the thread memory god.
-
I cant quite remember the name of them but Sukh used to have the wheels when it was featured in PVW years ago, something like S line/ S edition wheels maybe very similar to RH ZW1, think these have more bolts in them.

I am still on 17's and thats the feeling i ever so nearly get, as i say it just needs that little bit more. -
I currently have the adjustable Neuspeed 25mm rear ARB, i need to adjust it to it's stiffest setting. When i get it up onto the axle stands do i need to have it so the suspension is compressed as though it's sat on the ground or like its jacked up if that makes sense, just need to move the rose joints into the next hole on the bar?

I have the Neuspeed 25mm bars on mine and find it can understeer ever so slightly, the rear is set to medium but i am going to adjust it to the stiffest setting, just wondering if you notice a difference with the rear top strut brace, thought about going the 28mm rear bar on mine, as you say though its nearly bang on mine just needs that little bit more. -
Totally agree there modern cars usually are from good well respected manufacturers. I would have 1. Skipped a few pages when i posted previously then read them and that photoshop is proper hardcore man.
-
Just for the record i do like the car alot but not as a sports coupe/new scirocco
-
That twin filter set up is looking 8) mate
-
To be honest the pic makes them look weird but when your sat in the car its spot on, the pics make the slight colour difference noticable when its not and there is more plastic across the top that you dont notice in real life, so it all looks wrong but its not. Getting the shift kit fitted but its turning into a mission, just need to fit a new ignition switch, replace all the bulbs in the Audi dials, may as well do my clocks too whilst im in there and that should be pretty much all done.

Small update, not quite a finished product but 90% there for looks. [strike:y2w0oxpc]Also painted the needles in my original clocks speedo etc to orange.[/strike:y2w0oxpc] Just been ordered to edit my post by my gorgeous fiance, she painted my needles in my clocks :D thanks love :notworthy: 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfPicture 003.jpg[/attachment:y2w0oxpc] Picture 004.jpg[/attachment:y2w0oxpc]
