Look in the for sale as people are breaking them and put a wanted up in the wanted section for the bits you need.

I explained pretty crap what i meant i will try again. I was trying to get at what he meant by dodgy steering, a lot of people complain about it feeling unstable in the corners which can be the bushes, but obviously that wont cause the steering wheel to feel loose, just some people who dont know anything can get confused by small things. Chris not saying you know nothing by the way.
-
Usually the dodgy steering is the rear bushes giving passive steering. My steering wheel is the same.

It states at the bottom Corrado's starting 1992 engine code AAA so maybe yes its for Storms too. Good diagram but i need to know what is for what actually on the switch, im not looking to build a loom.

There is only 1 applicable saying here and it goes How fast you want to go depends how deep your pockets are. 1 exception been corradovr6 nos which is still alot of money for his but for the BHP per £ is a bloody bargain. Also yes chargers can be bought for 1K plus but then look at Herisites, it started out as i can charge my VR for 1k but then through various things out of his control costs have spiralled slightly and would have been worse if it was not for cheesemeister. Tuning does not always/ever come cheap for big gains, i have gained almost 100% in BHP and 110% torque over standard but the cost of doing so was astronomical due to not been handy with the spanners, to put it in perspective the cost of doing so would tune my EVO if i had 1 to 500 - 600 BHP, which would be nice but i dont want a fast EVO i wanted a fast corrado. 2p worth anyway

Ok so will settle for an explanation for what they are with no diagram needed.
-
Right i need to know if anybody has a diagram to explain what the 7 terminals are on the back of the twin rotary dial knobs do for the heated seats switch please?
-
I would say its not a problem bracing extra on the front so long as you do more on the back as well.
-
Im glad you use the bra for a purpose and not scene, i hate all that crap too, and i love the black centre trippy wheels. The pic is mean but it also can be mean and clean too. I have the same problems too. :(
-
Is making the front end that much stiffer not going to make the car really understeer badly.
-
I love how this is coming and with your skills im sure you could turn it into a Mk1 so you would have 2 then. If i had 1 criticism on your car and please take it as constructive then its that damn front end, its like marmite or car bras (which i know you love 2, sorry) you know i dont but its the yellow headlights and tinted fogs/indicators, its just not working in my eyes, for me its like a cheap french car headlight wise and chav tints on the fogs, like you say its amazing what a bit of paint can do, well likewise for those, clear them. On the whole though you know i love the car mate. Please feel free to constructively pull mine down as nobody really seems to and i need some proper feedback for once.

I was told from a very well respected source that its better to start the conversion from a 16v engine 1st then convert that to FI as you have more of the parts that you need in that engine then starting with a G60 engine.

I have used Thorncliffe Garage in Chapeltown round the corner from Source if you know where thay are mate, quite reasonably priced. PM me if you need the details.

As i have Corrado Recaros in mine, if i wanted to fit some other Recaro seat in is it a case of unbolting the seat from the subframe and bolt the new 1 on, basically do all recaros have the same bolt spacing from seat to subframe.

Hahahah i can fel 1 of these coming on FaTT MK1.jpg[/attachment:2dp77vxy]

Yes just get a Rado and forget the stupid idea of the rocco you have in your head, buy a proper car :norty:
-
You gotta love the colour of those injectors, synonomous with big VW power
-
Im not too clued up on them but its the smaller engine in it too, they did the 4.5 and 5 litre 1's too i think. I was @ Jabbasports RR day last year and they had 1 on the rollers there it made just over 320bhp i think.
-
Im sure somebody was telling me about you possibly, you not had the car long and were you in Somerfield/Texaco on Balby road earlier?
-
I have been waiting for you to do the numberplate like that since you said you have an idea thats a 1st and may well go wrong, looks flipping good man.
-
When you came over Leon i had a battery fitted that day a cheapo £50 55Ah battery and as you know it came off the road that night, not knowing it was coming off, it sat in the garage for 4-5 weeks all connected up and clifford alarmed, then i disconnected the battery where it sat for a further 3 months, connected it all up it cranked over 1st time and didnt start as it always does then cranked it over the 2nd time and it fired up as it always does. Yes maybe get another battery but it may be worth looking into the electrical system to be sure. How was the hol?
-
What about the relay for the lights, if its welded the contacts together as can happen over time then that may cause them to be on permantly. When you use the indicator stalks or the hazards are they still on or do they flash.

Surely having the same Corrado for 11 years makes me a little bit of a fan (bearing in mind I'll only 31) I replied earlier but the post has vanished, but it said i stand well and truly corrected on the matter. Keep it and stick a diff engine in. You hardcore Corrado fan.
-
Oh yes, 100cc doesnt sound alot and may not increase overall power but the total different engine characteristics it will have will amaze you. Free revving and high revving monster it will be
-
I dont think he will regret it, not hardcore enough of a fan of the Corrado my impression is tbh.
