  2. Get some 20mm adaptors on and change the dishes to smaller 1's (sure furks will say keep them as they are) and then the arch work wont be needed to be pulled as far so it will still look standard with still phat rims, but whichever way you do it its going to cost you, but i prefer the more standard looking arches on phat rims instead of stupidly pulled arches as it ruins the lines of the car, but thats not to say they cant be improved upon.
  3. Depends how much arch work you need doing but its easily £200 a corner to pull them and then most likely need respraying.
  4. Agree and get some 2 piece discs, but mega money. Im happy with my brakes for general driving, they do fade slightly on standard discs and pads but they take a while to do so, its not instant.
  5. I dont know about the caliper to disc question but the clearance issue is the width of the caliper, they will fit 16's but may hit the back of the wheel face, on my old 17" 5 spokes they needed spacing out 8mm and they had a quite forgiving design so it will be close and most likely not fit at a guess without spacers.

    Anti-lag set up

Proper weapons r us Think it will require the use of some proper anti lag on those beasts
  8. Get the camber checked and get used to 17's basically, once the confidence is back its better on 17's apart from no comfort, prob go 50mm max for lowering and change the rear beam bushes that will definatly improve the snakey feel
  9. Not sure between the 16v and G60 but i run alot of power, have been for 3 years and i have not fully broke any yet, gearbox is slightly whining now and an outer cv joint is going now. Its the torque that will break things. If it aint broke dont fix it especially if your modifying driveshafts etc, sounds more hassle than its worth if the 1's you have currently work, stick with them until you do break them, then look to upgrade etc

    Oil change

Thinking about it actually the oil cooler has a thermostat which would have been closed as the engine was stone cold so in theory the oil will have remained in the cooler if there was any in the 1st place, so all should be good still, still going to check though  paranoia setting in all for the sake of 0.25L of oil    Lets just say i wont be over filling it again

    Oil change

That was when i filled it after the change and after driving it im not sure if it will be lower slightly due to the external oil cooler taking some up will have to check before next use. So confident i was of the knowledge of some people i just poured the full 3.75L straight in.

    68mm pulley

I have a pulley and i think its 68mm, just wondered where do you measure the 68mm is it the internal diameter, reason im not sure is i should have the standard pulley but cant find it if this 1 is the 68mm. So its confusing me.

    Oil change

Im going to change the oil in a moment on my G60 Just need to check how much oil it needs to fill her back her up as i do not have a full 5L, i assume 3.75L will be sufficient?
  20. Im sure somewhere in the beginning you were saying its easy and not much work or parts needed, glad your seeing the light at the end of the tunnel sideways lol
