Yup, it makes contact on the starter, but loses contact on the ignition position. Try wiggling the key when you turn it over...

The porting looks rather nice on that charger. :)

We fitted them to Dinkus's car when we rebuilt that, but agin, I don't know what tangiable difference there is, as the old ones were pretty tired, and the car hasn't been driven much since. I'm going to wack them into mine. I think the more solid design will probably help improve the lifespan on a lowered car, which puts extra stress on the bushes.

Early doors, well, doors with the correct clips for early interiors. I don't think any of the G60s had late interiors from the factory.

I've got to get on and have more of a listen to it. Had a quick listen to Invaders must Die and some of Wiley's album. :) Cheers for the copy of it. Gnna hook the craptop up to the stereo and give some of it a blast later. :)

Life is hard, and so am I, you'd better give me something so I don't die... It's ooooold, like late 90s if I remember rightly... :) I like.... I might just purchase myself some M83. :D

No,not at all. Cam considerations for a blown engine is different than for a turbo. vr6 throttle cable. you would have had to mod it at the driver end then?! Hats off. I'm going to use a golf driver one. Nope, its a straight fit off the shelf, makes things nice and easy, trying to keep the fabrication and custom parts list as small as possible to keep it easy to maintain. I thought the pedal end of the VR and 16v cables was different, the VR using a spring loaded ball which locates in the shaped end of the pedal and the 16v using a cranked end which fits through a hole in the pedal end. Or at least that's what I've seen when fiddling with my 16v and Dom's VR.

Oh, and would anyone be upset if I said I saw Metallica when they were touring St Anger, and wandered off to watch Basement Jax instead?

I really want to see QOTSA, not heard much of Era Vulgaris, but I've been listening to Songs for the Deaf and Lullabies to Paralyze a lot recently.

how random is that vedio ????? I like Sia, I heard this years and years ago and it stuck in my mind.

Have a search for stalling at junctions, think it's fairly common, possibly a ISV or a MAF fault. Tom

Just went looking for the old thread where people were putting up whatever they had been listening to recently up, but I think it's been auto pruned. :( So, any suggestions of what's good at the moment? I've mostly been into Lamb of God (Not for the faint hearted ;)) Vampire Weekend Placebo Linky MGMT Linky And a bit of Mistabishi Linky

That's a bit strange. It shouldn't have done that really. Nevermind... -

I saw you had two gallery threads, so I locked the one with the least pics. I really like rados in black. :) -
Disadvantages are cost of the kit and fitting. It's not simple to fit, the loom etc comes from a mk3 platform car and needs trimming, and extra wiring removing, corrado specific wiring needs to be included, and I don't think the colours all match. The brake servo will need removing to feed the loom through the bulkhead to the fusebox. A few people have done it, or had it done.

About 2-3mpg apparently, better diagnostics, better midrange pull (might have made that one up), better options if you go FI later, no ISV any more, few more bhp, bit more torque.

It's not just animals....

Looks nice mate... Didn't find a 225 then?

Rofl. I've worked hard on my grip, and like to think that I can take the extra rubber girth quite easily.

Depends on the age of the VR.... Hehehehe. On early VRs the secondary water pump pumps water while the ignition is switched on and for 10 minutes after it is switched off. On late VRs, the secondary water pump pumps water while the ignition is switched on and if the coolant temperature is above a certain level for 10 minutes after the ignition is switched off. The late VRs have a fan/pump control unit next to the header tank with 3 fuses, rather than 1. These units can also overheat and the components inside can unsolder from the pcb. Take it off and see if it rattles for proof.

I think Dec off here is responsible for a large portion of all corrados imported into Ireland.
