If you do have the relay pack, you can take it apart and try to fix anything, but I would advise this as a last resort...

Oh, and don't leave the battery completely uncharged in this cold, they can be damaged.

There have been a few threads about 1.8T conversions, you should find a fair bit of information by using the search. The VR6 bellhousing won't fit a 4 cylinder block though.

Might well be the temp switch in the radiator, or you should have a sensor bolted to the rocker cover on the front left corner (from the front) with a single wire going to it. Check that the wire is in good condition, and the sensor looks reasonable.

Passat VR6 calipers can use a "normal" corrado brake line kit, apparently.

Brilliant! I remember when I first fitted my loom. I really need to sort out my toss reflectors and lenses now, as they've degraded into pre loom days. :(

I suppose if you make sure you put the locking wheel bolt in that hole, then you'll minimise risks. But still.

24v head ought to gobble up more CFM though.

I agree, I love looking at the pictures and articles and picking interesting little snippets out. Like the PAS tank on the RV-6. and the fact it's also a crossflow, but going backwards to the production VR6 so the exhaust comes out the front and snuffles away under the sump. -
Did you have the head skimmed when you removed it to fit the spacer plate?

When I do the gearbox mount I undo 2 of the bolts on the gearbox bracket and loosen the other one and then swivel the bracket out of the way. then the mount just lifts out.

There are a few corrado exhausts that look a bit like that, they look a bit plop IMO. I can't remember who make them though.
