I still not started mine so can still change them. Think I have the original clamps. Can't remember what they looked like though. Am buying fire extinguishers before I fire it up for first time. Wanted some anyway. Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk 2

Apparently the insurance covers dropping the phone in water but not mayonnaise?

Signed up with carphone warehouse now, still with orange though. O2 wanted to give me a refurbed S3, which only came with 3 months warranty. So got a new S3, £26 a month for 24months, i got to the point where i ran out of patience and decided to pay a bit more per month. Hopefully the S3 will still be usable in 24months time.

00:00:04 system : agent will be with you shortly ... 00:04:39 Nick : Hello James, you're chatting to Nick. I am part of the Orange Click to Chat team. 00:05:55 Nick : How can I help you today? 00:06:28 James : I'm thinking of leaving orange now, its been so hard to get hold of you guys when i have a problem 00:07:09 James : Can you tell me how many minutes and text i get at the moment each month? 00:08:24 Nick : So that I can access your details to look in to this for you, may I ask you to confirm the Orange mobile telephone number and the first and third characters of your Customer Services security password that is set up on your account? This is the password that you would use whenever you call Customer Services. 00:08:40 James : 01234 5678910 00:09:21 James : password letters could be ... 00:09:42 Nick : That's great, thank you James. 00:10:40 James : also to note, my sim has been faulty for a while and finally stopped being detected altogether, so am without a phone at the moment which is a problem 00:11:10 Nick : You get 200 minutes and unliimited texts per month on your plan. You also have 200 loyalty minutes and unlimited mobile internet which expire 21/10/2012. 00:11:13 James : i am hoping to have some sort of new contract by tomorrow, be it a PAYG sim or an upgrade or a new contract with O2 00:13:07 Nick : Sorry but we can’t process or discuss any sales or upgrades offers over web chat. To look at upgrading your phone, the best place to start is by checking out Your Account where you can view offers and choose them through our online shop. Here’s the link http://www.orange.co.uk/youraccount Alternatively call the upgrades team on 150, option 1, 4 and 1. 00:14:14 James : I can't login to my account due to some issue with your website, i can't phone up due to a 2hr wait, i discussed it alot the other day and have the transcripts still 00:14:41 Nick : You would have discussed it with the sales chat not this one. 00:14:56 Nick : The phones are very busy because of the iPhone 5. 00:15:03 James : can you connect me to sales chat? 00:15:26 Nick : It is not possible sorry. If they are free they appear once a phone is selected online. 00:18:26 James : I'm a bit stuck here, i can't get hold of anyone to sort out my sim problem, i am without a phone, i work out of the office and people need to contact me on my phone, i can't access the upgrade menu on website as i can't receive the code on my phone due to faulty sim. Not sure how i came to be chatting with you, but its the first sort of contact i've managed today. I need help, otherwise i will be without a phone all weekend and until this stupid Iphone5 fuss settles down, i feel as if orange are being inadequate here 00:21:16 Nick : I am really sorry but we are unable to help with phone problems via this chat service. I have provided a link to our online diagnostic tool where you may be able to resolve the problem you are having. Alternatively, please call our Customer Services on 150 from an Orange phone or 07973 100 150 from any other non Orange phone, selecting option 1, 3 and 2. Our helpdesk is open 0800-2200 hours, 7 days a week and any of our representatives will be pleased to assist you. http://help.orange.co.uk/orangeuk/support/personal/mobile-troubleshooting 00:22:22 James : what can you help me with? 00:22:36 James : Can you help me leave orange and get my PUC code 00:23:26 Nick : We cannot help with you fault, or upgrading or to leave they all have to be done over the phone. 00:25:19 James : Is there anything you can help me with today? 00:25:33 Nick : There isn't unfortunately. 00:25:49 James : hahahahahaha Getting nowhere today :( everywhere is busy because of this iphone5 release, so looks like i'll be without a phone until the dust settles

Is this a direct attack on Corrado Forum values?

Bacon...............is good for me!!! -
My sim card has finally broken today, seems its not my phone that's the problem but the sim can't be detected in any phone. So without a phone now which is a pain as work use it to get hold of me. Got to wait in for the postman today, so can't pop out to get a new deal, Orange website isn't working for me, cannot sign in, cannot get hold of them on phone without being on hold for ages which i just fed up with today. Going phoneless for the weekend, now going to look at an S3 on O2 network. Might go to carphonewarehouse next week and see what i can get. ---------- Post added at 10:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:40 AM ---------- I like the look of the lumia, but as Kev said its one of them things i'd rather wait until its got a proven track record than being one of the early users discovering the problems.

i had a car cover like that on a previous car and i stitched some velcro onto the sides, then stuck the opposing bit of velcro under the sill on car, so you couldn't see it, then it stopped the sides flapping about

I think this could be applied to more than just bikes!!

What do you mean by "looking porous"? Its just that i've put my original 194,000mile sump back on after not being too keen on the 24v sump i bought. I filled it up with water and left it a while to check for leaks. Painted it with POR15, great stuff, even when you brush it on, it comes out really smooth and very tough.

anyone got pics of them on a Corrado? -
Looking into an S3 now, change my mind daily. Thinking of keeping my contract and buying the phone, contract is less than £12 a month atm ---------- Post added at 5:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 5:37 PM ---------- Orange confuse me and i think i catch them out sometimes. I can either have an S3 & contract over 24months for £682 or £984 total cost.

Looks exciting, hope you stick with it :) Can't believe the state of the rad panel! ---------- Post added at 3:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 3:32 PM ---------- I ran out of tardis and just use white spirits now, its pretty much the same but alot cheaper, just keep spraying it on the glue until it softens then scrape off with a credit card etc

Had my sump reinforced by welded a chunk of metal to the bottom, also tried to respray part of the wings with rattle cans (came out not that great)

That little "halo" ring on the ignition caused mine to not start for the previous owner. I noticed it had been cut off each end and a new one fitted. Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk 2

Hi again internet. Put some more bits on the car, new brake shields Then fitted the brakes, Didn't bother doing anything about the rust on discs, rebuilt the calipers again with fresh paint Started repairing the wings now, all the holes and bits have been welded up, i've just got to do some paint

I ended up doing what jay said and just bought some 8mm ID fuel hose and some new clips. Went on fine and can't see any problem with it, it just clipped in and the fact it wasn't preformed bends didn't cause any issues. Used this stuff http://www.fuelpumpsonline.co.uk/8mm-fuel-hose---sytec-competition-injection-rubber-fuel-hose-371-p.asp

as far as sat nav is concerned, does the iphone have built in GPS? I tried to look up the specs of the S2 vs S3 and it almost looked like the S3 had gone backwards, bigger, wider, longer, heavier and seem to have some of the features removed ---------- Post added at 9:45 AM ---------- Previous post was at 9:44 AM ---------- but saying that a bigger screen would probably be better for me when using photos, internet and satnav

I had the two suspension bolts slip after hitting a pothole, could see the camber change by eye and also see where the bolt had moved. Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk 2

if we all put the prices of our cars up, the value of corrados would go up, we just need to all co-operate at once (sellers that is)

Someone might buy it, worth a punt if he has the time to try the market. With any car like this the enthusiasts who live and breath the cars know best, but to someone new to the cars and without and spanners they might just see it as 30,000miles and presume its twice as good as 60,000miles and think they have the best example because its the most expensive/lowest miles at the time Of course we know better ;)

Nah, i've stripped and repainted the calipers and carriers, must of fell off when i took them off about 1yr ago  Going to buy an assortment of washers i think. Cheers!
-
Gone to put my brakes back on lastnight and can't remember if the banjo bolt on front brakes is meant to have 1 copper washer or two? At the moment i have one, its between the top of bolt and the top of the hose connector, so other side of hose connector is straight onto the metal of caliper?

£112 each last time i looked :! I bought one and smashed it less than a year later :(
