    i think if you take the wheel off you will see its just clipped on, very easy to put back on "wrong"

    this was some time ago, and i can't remember what it was in the ends, either way, i've had all the wheel bearings and all the brakes replaced since anyway.

    i don't know, i haven't read all of this thread :lol: thats a photo i took of my manual for the vag/scorpion 5000. i was just saying there is more to resetting it than standing near car and holding the button down. EDIT: just read and yes that is what you have posted, ignore me :cuckoo: :cuckoo: :nuts: :oops:

    Just taken a photo of the manual that came with my alarm, Scorpion/Vag 5000 step number 3 sometimes it works first time, other times it doesn't

    i always reset mine with the keys in ignition etc, seem to do mine quite a lot as i disconnect the battery quite often.

    when i did mine i removed the sump, people will say there's another way, but i wanted to renew the sump gasket anyway

    they just don' seem to have the same quality as the 15" :( not sure what it is, but i really wanted to like them more than i do. Maybe its all the square edges i don't like

    it makes me wonder what will happen to corrado prices? will people struggling to get £1500 for a valver just scrap it for £2k?
