    Door drop?

i'm always telling folk not to lean or put downward weight on my doors when they open but they don't listen. lately my doors seem to catch the sill very slightly when shutting them, is only a tiny amount, i grabbed pass door and pulled it up gently which has stopped that side from rubbing. but the drivers door seems loose, its knocks if you lift it up and down is this something just needed adjusting?
  6. so do i, as i've forwarded it onto five news, bbc news and the daily mail
  7. i like to take pics etc is always useful for everyone, i'll be getting proper ones of the weitec springs and early plates when they off the car, hopefully this weekend i specifically asked for the latest springs for a VR and to make sure they have the smaller coil, and they deffo seem right, the other springs the plate would fit on, but the slighest knock and they would become dislodged and fall through the coil i'll try and remember to measure it tonight, but they are standard VW late spring plates, i've just painted them
  8. i've often thought about going back to a badged grill, looks more classic to me, and in a strange way makes the car look its age, which i prefer
  9. this subject is the bane of my life at the moment. i've been told mine is probably the cast/camber setting
  10. the boss's wife had a v70r and its crazy fast for an estate, really good handling too, plus you hauling around a luxury house inside
  11. if it didn't have to be modern i'd probably have an audi S2. can't think of many modern cars i'd be happy with, R32 golf seems the obvious stepping stone
  12. i'm picky too when it comes to badges, been swapping mine on and off for ages and settled on this now although might not suit every colour rado all black to rear, did have chrome, then chrome and red, then black and red. simple on the front
  13. the interior reminds me of the hi-fi section in the argos catalouge :!
  14. went for Pi springs in the end and they seem to fit much better i found that with early spring plates it was compressing the spring too much for my liking this seems far better now
  15. that was my first reply, the corrado is half the price of a CTR and twice as old
  16. You want to come back??? . yeah, i doubt i could handle the americans forever and would soon of tired all the girls out
  17. maybe argued before but what do you guys make of comments like this? "15 year old Corrado or 4 year old CTR - I take the CTR THX" "without a doubt as the CTR is a better car in every aspect you want to anlayse them both" :? i very much disagree with the CTR being better in EVERY aspect
  18. to the playboy mansion and back again, that would be mine
  19. noticed one of the polos for sale on PH http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/256807.htm then remembered this that someone made: has anyone considered doing it to a corrado? :! quite cheap if you spray it yourself as nothing has to match? might have to photoshop one
  20. do you not get wet inside the box? ^^^^
  21. yes as said pic is from bentley manual, i'm still not sure if my rear springs are on upside down or not? with car on ground looking at the front springs the bottom 3 or 4 coils are all compressed together, and on the rear its the opposite, the top 4 coils are compressed together?
  22. thats the brace i've seen, connects to either side of wishbones and has a diagonal brace between the two
  23. yeah thats the bit putting me off, petrol costs, having to hang around while they work on it. may as well take a chance with someone local, am sure dinkus said these guys race mk2 golfs?
  24. i'm going to check out this local place and see if they have all the proper equipment, if not how do you find the specialists in my area? stealth is 100miles away
