I think it would attract more interest if it looked more standard. Just little things like the grill, fog lights, number plates and ride height. Not meant as a negative about the car. It looks tidy I the photos. Can't see why you couldn't advertise it for £4-5k and seeing what interest you get. I notice the main buyers of corrados are corrado owners :lol:

I recently bought a new 2.8 block with pistons. Think there is one left on ebay now. With the corrado inlet etc and I'm using some 263 cams I'm hoping it will make decent standard power or better. I thought it was a good option so went down that route. I have my old 2.9 block and another in the car if you can't find one. Although I think one needs lots of work.

I bought some of the cheapest ebay mats I could find. Was something like £12 delivered. Perfect fit. Look good. Not as hard wearing as originals. Had mine in for about 20,000 miles and still ok. I'd probably replace them again soon. Only one is worn. I have loads of decent passenger mats and rears.

I always remember my corrado breaking after the first two weeks. Was chasing a bmw z3 in the rain and the wipers broke 20miles from home. Then it seemed to break something every few weeks for the next 8yrs and counting. :lol:

There is a good cooling guide on here for the vr6. Well worth a read as it well tell you how to check your rad fans and cooling stages. Where did you drain it from? Also best not to mix some coolant types. I'd just stick to the VW stuff or fuchs make a G12++ equivalent one. Air lock could be likely as well though. Like you say. Are the heaters blowing hot air now?

Sometimes there will be a glitch in it and you may notice a sense of deja vu.

Cheers, i moved a lot of my old photos on photobucket so lots missing in the thread, i should get round to sorting that out really. I will aim to do the running in within a month or two. i'll just drive about willy nilly :lol:

I seem to have loads of oil about but may as well go back to the vw stuff then. I have bought a magnetic sump plug to help. So will be using that. Did get a sheet of running in instructions from vince. Seems like about 2000miles of running in.

Does anyone know about running in oil, heard it mentioned elsewhere and not sure if i need it or not, i had planned to just use the fuchs titan oil i normally use and then change it after a few hundred miles.

Is there anywhere i can find the data on fan mounting points? Just because i can't work out which brackets i have. Tried googling it but no luck so far. Also, what difference does the fan blade shape make? Curved or straight. I think i have an 11" and a 9" brackets, i've assumed suction type is correct.

I would of thought that Red Victor Vauxhall was the fastest car in the UK, Road legal.

Hi mate. Are you still local? There is a good windscreen guy called Rich. Runs advance windscreens. He did mine recently. He is really helpful if you need some advice.

Not sure i have this airguide, never seen it on mine, is it the two parts that sit each side of the rad? Will meausure up what i have tonight.

How does someone program out the EGR valve? £70 seems a bit much

Just realised i might have different brackets to the ones you have had made. I better have a measure up. Think mine are the DG ones, bought them from crazydave.

Quick question regarding the fans, am i right in thinking they need a 11" and a 6.5" Spal fan? Do they need to be a pull air fans rather than push?
