A front mount for a G60 not sure if they are the same which was VT was £129 which was cheaper than a standard one from VAG. Give John Mitchell 16vg60 a pm or look up in the parts for sale section for JMR solid front mounts. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24262 not sure if the G60 ones are the same as the VR6's

When i had my RS intercooler conversion i had a RS 4 bumper smoothed the grills on the sides but could not have sideskirts as i would have beached the car at every speed hump. I will find a photo tonight

m8 i live in highcliffe, i always take my g60 to John Mitchell 16vg60 on this forum. He has rebuilt my top of my engine, serviced my supercharger and rebuilt the front of my car to incorporate the Audi RS Intercooler. + brakes + suspension + oil cooler porting and Miltek exhaust. He would be able to do the work for you i am sure and he is only 75 miles away. Much nearer then stealth and he is also a registered MOT inspector. Give him a PM m8 Cheers Woody

The later stalks i have came out of a golf. The only difference with these are that the MFA cable is not as long and it required me to splice into and then heatshrink up the old cable (only four cables colour to colour). I had to buy the surround from Mr Steeler which comes in three parts. 1 hour job to do the whole thing. Golf bits should be easier to get then C bits.

Can i use a early Window winder manual front door cards with a bit of cutting out fit the electrical window switches. Or will the back of the switches foul the metelwork of the door. Could someone measure roughly to the center of the switches from the front of the cards and the top of the cards for me. Cheers Woody

You can change the bulb behind the heater sliders but it involves, 1. Remove both sliders and heater speed knob 2. Removing heater panel 3. Remove power connection (white connector) 4. Remove fan speed connector (move up towards the windscreen out of its slot) 5. Check that you have some power going to the white connector (Fuse?) 6. Using a small screwdriver pry "carefully" the white backing away from the black part of the controls. 7. Use small screwdriver to push the two connectors within the white panel where the bulb is and the bulb will come out. Go to a scrappie find a golf and get a another bulb. (Try to check it somehow with a battery) 8. When putting it back together just use some glue to reattach the white panel to the black panel

Jack up car ( drivers side front wheel ) Take off wheel Near the front of the wheel arch you will see a pulley with a bolt through it this is the rear pulley of the PAS belt. When i replaced mine a couple of weeks ago mine was squealing (like my 15 month son having his nappy changed) but it still felt quite tight. It was only when i took it off that i relized that it was worn and cracked in places. New belt and quiet PAS Cheers Woody

Standard for the rear and gear box mounting and either a vibra-technics or solid for front, 16vg60 John Mitchell Racing fitted mine just before his solid mount was available.

I am in the middle of stripping seats to go off to the trimmers and i am having a problem with the round black bits which hold the headrest in place. I need to remove them to allow me to change the foam in the upper part of the seat. How are these removed it looks like they have to be pushed up from the inside of the seat, but i managed to trap my fingers trying. Thanks in advance Woody

Saw someone get pulled over on the A27 the oter day buy a Black BMW with lights in the grills.

Henny is the person to ask, i beleive he nearly lost a wheel on the way to Inters last year with 10mm spacers. I run 15mm spacers on the front to allow for the brembos. The spacers which i run were from South Coast Wheels http://[email protected] which have the lips on them so that the wheel is not just hanging off the four bolts.

I had this the other week you start the car and turn the wheel power steering kick in then it goes heavy. My PAS belt was only about two years old but it was quite worn, changed it and the PAS was fine. Half an hour job

Will one of these fit into a C (with the use of a crowbar) and what bits other than the engine would i need. My m8 just had his written off and he may but it back off the insurance company. Cheers Woody
