Stupid question Did you make sure that the power steering belt was put back on correctly when you changed the charger belt. Power steering units are on ebay GSF dont seem to have a G60 power steering pump but i beleive they can range between £95 and £130 for brand new.

Get a oil cooler m8 The temps you get in the winter not so much of a worry, but in the summer i was hitting 130 which to be honest scared the sh*t out of me Now with my oil coller mounted on the passenger side where the old intercooler was i had not had anything above 106. First picture shows it on the cross member where JMR fitted it first. Second picture shows new position in place of intercooler as a Audi RS was placed in the front bumper. This allowed for great flow of air to the intercooler and the oil cooler. I beleive JMR do the kits for about £135 + fitting Bottom Line go for a oil cooler ( its a great mod if you want to keep the car for a while) JMR is 16vG60 on this forum. Give him a PM

Did you neally lose the bottom of your engine on the ferry. I took my C over to help a m8 move and the lyndhurst ferry nearly had a permanent passenger (beached). scared the cr*p out of me.

Does anyone know if they is anywhere where you can but metel ones finished in crome or stainless steel. Doing a bit of interior makeover with metal door sills(group buy) Seat height adjustment lever (was a group buy) and hopfully door opener's (group buy) and the grab handle would finish it off nicely.

I could not beleive how heavy the steering was when i was being towed by the AA. 5 min trip felt like 30 mins in the gym or 20 minutes trying to get one of the many rusted bolts off my C.

Joe (someone) can do Steering wheels for £130 he has just done my BBS Wheel for me. Proper job he did to !!!. You can contact him through John Mitchell 16vG60 on this forum. I will post a pick of his work later on today. The reason it cost so much compared to other parts is you cant use a machine all of the stiching has to done by hand.

This might be related but i had a petrol leak on my G60 a couple of weeks ago and the problem was the flow pipe was leaking at the rail. I replaced the flow and return pipes just in case which were £25 and £20. I was advised not buy bog standard pipe from GPC / halfords as the pipes used on the g60 were formed and if a striaght bit of pipe was used it would be liable to kinking. Is It a straight run???

John Mitchell did mine for me (16vg60) on this forum or look at this thread for info http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight= -
Yes thanks for that Niels. So i would like to change my handles and i would be up for a group buy but its a shame that you can only get the door opening handle in crome when i think it would look nice if you could get the door opening and door closing handle in crome. I think that would make a black leather door card look very nice.

I have fitted a late style indicator stalk and wiper stalk to my C including the new style cowling. The only problem i found was that the cable which feeds the mfa push button is not as long as the old type ( i can olny presume that the connector on the new style is in a different place from the old one). What i did was cut the old cable so the cut would be hidden under the cowling and then cut the new mfa cable and spliced them together. There are four wires so i just mated up the colour's and put heatshink arround each join and there you go everything worked. Make sure when getting a cowlling that you know whether you need one with or wothout the height adjustment lever. The new cowling are about £30 from VAG or there is one on ebay i think at the moment.

Right the little bugger (Ben) has grown to big for the sitting backwards facing seat in the front so i went to baby R Us and tried about 10 of their seats. (Not wanting to spend £199 on a Recaro he will only puke on it!!!!) The seat which I fitted ok in the back was the Britax which was £89 and had the following description. A deeper shell and side wings offer protection for your child in side impact crashes Contoured styling for a good fit in modern sculpted seats The 5 positions ensure a comfortable journey for your child whether awake or asleep, playing or dozing! You can easily adjust the recline angle from the front of the seat without disturbing your child – especially handy if they have started to snooze having previously been sitting up, wide awake Fabrics Available - Graphite Squares , Urban Slate, Pacific Blue, Mono, Stirling (Limited Edition When i fitted this seat into the car i found that because of the position of the lower seatbelt which comes through the bottom of the panel did not hold the seat rigid at the bottom however hard you tightened it up. I phoned up Britax and they told me that the way that they test cars is to attach the seat and then pull on both harness, if the top of the seat moved then it was no good. Also they said to even out the base you could place a small pillow under the base which would take away the bucket style of the seat alowing the seat to seat squarley and rigid. Also this allow for the top of the seat to clear the headrest allowing the seat to be positioned in any of it five reclining positions. The seat did not move at the top and Ben can now check out the interior of my C and pull bits of trim off and throw toys at me while driving.

Are the Ibiza Brembo setups the same as the Leon Brembo setup as if this is the case on some wheels you will need to run spacers and get the front edge of the arches rolled as 16vG60. Mind you that was because of the BBS RX's. Iwould really like these but the knock on work envolved puts me off a bit. I might just get Zimmerman x drilled disks and Red stuff pads.
