LOL, thats what my mum said!
-
Its a cap for a tube, that goes to the exhaust manifold, to test co from, by the looks of things. God knows why its vibrating, maybe it has come loose!
-
Ok, but still I'd like to see someone without an arnie size leg lock the wheels up at 140mph! You think you could?
-
Yes and dont you think even a free spinning wheel, say off the ground, at 140mph is going to require a little more force to lock-up than one spinning at 1mph, and thats before you have a ton of car, and the traction on the road!
-
The main advantage of larger disks isnt to improve braking power, the standard brakes in good condition are plenty powerful enough to lock the wheels up at will. The main reason to fit larger disks is to provide more surface area to increase heat dispersal, decreasing brake fade. The rears do more braking than you would think as well, my car is currently going through rear pads faster than fronts, and I have no issues with sticking calipers or anything like that. I'd like to see someone without an arnie size leg lock the wheels up at 140mph!

I think you'll be lucky to find a standard one that does it in under 8 seconds!
-
Mine is the only one that dont work for handbrake turns?
-
Cheers people, plenty of places to try and find one tomorrow then!
-
Yeah you're right steveo, perhaps the stealer will have them in stock, if not surely I'll find one in the scrappy! Cheers
-
Anyone know where I can get one of these locally, really need my car tomorrow, fecking thing snapped after spending 4 hours changing the water pump(what a gay job!), I'm thinking gsf prolly dont do them, and robinsons vw never seem to have what I want  Maybe some hydraulic fitting place in Norwich? Cheers Ryan

You put a link like his in your sig, get 6 million people to sign up, to some bs, and get a free ipod!
-
Will a vr6 80c thermostat fit? Cheers Ryan
-
Have a water leak around the pump, but as you cant really see a lot without taking the charger off, I wanna buy the stuff ready, to just wack on, so I'm thinking, new pump and thermostat, any other likely things ity could be? Cheers

I think he means your strut with the blue spring on! kevhaywire, my strut drops out when its jacked up :?
-
Hmm, you sure it wasnt like that to begin with? I've no problems, and its been driven hard for months, I'm pretty sure it was always like that, I dont see how it could be any different. There is a bit of road around here, that dips, with a bump in the middle, where the suspension clunks, which is obviously the strut coming out of the tower and clunking back in, which cant be healthy  But I guess the oem struts dont come out cuz there longer, bit strange aint it :?
-
Hmm, I'm a bit worried now  When I jack it up the top mount fall out of the suspension tower, I have fk aks, is it supposed to, yeah mine clunks a bit too
-
Ah, its supposed to look like that, I hope so anyway!
-
All I can say is you've done something wrong!
-
I bought some off the same guy, which were 5400k, facking useless, unusable, looked nice and blue, you just couldnt see in the dark! Maybe these ones are a bit better tho, bit more expensive!
-
LOL

Have you actually checked your policy, in my experience most insurers cover windscreen, even on 3rd party f&t, my current policy (tpft) requires a £50 excess, and I'm sure all my other 3rd party policys covered windscreens! Give them a ring!
-
Standard unported charger too?
-
Wouldnt your quick road test as a vw serviceman be a bit longer in a corrado? You could take it as a compliment! Oil and filter changes are so cheap it not worth getting your hands dirty too, I hope you didnt thing it was gonna be cheap going to a stealer :?
-
Looks fantastic m8, question is whats it gonna sound like?! Whats going in the other 2 holes though?
-
1500 isnt exactly good tho is it, thats like just over 7psi :?
