Heatshield wouldn't really cause a vibration would it? Just an annoying noise. Transmission mount sound likely...

I'm really liking those D90's, very nice indeed. :thumbleft:
-
That's very cheap. Almost half the normal price? So does this mean 17's are... £525+VAT? ;)

At last some pics - new pics with borbets/coilies

I'd take the wiper off mate, tidies up the rear no end. Whack some Rain-X on and you'll never have a problem. Only thing is that if you take the wiper off your rear'll be lighter and there'll be an even bigger gap in your arches! :) -
Azev A's are cool, what C do you have?
-
I think they are ok if you're over 25.

Wasn't Nick saying something about Ford Focus wipers a while back? The Veyron ones probably have their own radiator and oil cooler as well!

Lights are good and would only work that well on a black C. I also like the wheels a lot, still prefer 5 spoke though! :) -
I wonder how much they cost though...

That is a very nice shot. :thumb right:

Proespective Corrado owner needs a little advice...
Trig replied to willbarnett's topic in General Car Chat
Welcome to the forum! Corrado is a very good choice :) Both G60 & VR6 will be similar running/servicing/maintenence costs. Similar MPG, really depends on how you drive it TBH. As for insurance I found that insuring a G60 actually cost more than a VR6. don't know if that's just me though. I'm 23 2YNC and it cost £850 fully comp for me from Brentacre on my VR6. The VR6 is a bit of a subtle beast, plenty of torque. The G60 is more of a racer but I can't comment much as I haven't driven one yet. -
Look like a cut down version of ZW1's!

I've found Optimax to be dissapointing in the past as well. I'm used to BP Ultimate & Esso Supreme, both are great and very consistent. Wish I had a Tesco station nearby, never tried their 99 RON fuel.

Mine slow down a lot when going reall fast, once they stopped all together and refused to start until I slowed down! Bit dangerous at high speeds in heavy rain!
-
It's really easy, the plastic cover under the right side of the windscreen (looking towards the rear) just pulls off. Then it is a case of sliding back a plastic release tab then pulling away the plug.
-
Tempest, is that actually the correct dilution? I thought it was 60:40 Water to G12+? ..nit picking.
-
I'd say about £100, maybe a bit less.
-
You lucky devil double-6s. It's nice not to have to drive them every day, give'm a rest :)
-
If my C was red i'd consider leaving the surround and tinting the top of the lights black. Nice G60 :)
-
cymru-corrado, depends how wide the wheel is mate, 7, 7.5?
-
Radostormvr6, your car is going to be quite a machine mate! And still less than 20k miles!

I've got the Autowatch as well and it has been good, never gone off when it wasn't supposed to.

What is your O2 reading in VAG-COM? I have a similar thing ith mine but without the bang & it is caused by my ECU being broken...

Agreed, I can't see any prattish comments. :? I basically agree with what dinkus said, but I do resent the comment about people going against their word when volunteering to help. I said i'd help if I could with the best intentions and I wouldn't have spoken up if I hadn't of known that I have got/will-have the time to follow through (ooer!) with it. :) I think some thoughts are probably needed from the guys that run CCGB as whatever is/may-be decided will obviously need their input. :)

lamwagon, you'll need 40 profile tyres on 17s I reckon mate. As far as brands go, check out this thread. HTH
