-
it will be too big, resize it and try again

you only get a few readings with a 2l16v....good for abs problems etc
-
shame you are so far away as i would be up for helping ya out maybe some one is local could take a look?? I know what you mean i had a 'spirited' drive to my mothers today, cant beat it. *chris thinks - I love my car*
-
that back is to long!? it just looks odd. someone should photochop is a bit shorter lol
-
you have to watch the back end with traction control, as they can get a bit backend happy,so i hear. the 328 never seemed to bad but the 320 with same traction c. was crazy! once you are used to rear wheel drive i guess its all relative.. have fun :-)
-
like the interior!! not sure how slow it will feel?! my mother had one a few year back and it wa fast as hell!! even with the standard 193bhp (she had had a chip mind you). anyway i think top car, just watch out for the back end going round cornors. Nearly lost the 320 many a time.

TBH shorter lowering springs aren’t always under compression when the car is jacked. With major shorter springs shorter dampers should be used. Most mot testers don’t fail cars for this least not in my area ;-)

that red one looks fantastic!!!

Yeah ‘m’ coupe is lovely, one of my bosses had one and when he went to a golf R32 (to get space for his kids) he was sorely unimpressed

all seems ok today so maybe its a case of them just being a raddo part. when i get a chnace (cant see when im working from now till jan 2nd when i go on holiday, including xmas!!) i will try a few, in fact all , of these things cheers guys!! edit: ill see if i can find any mk3 golfs in the scrappies for some rear caliper action. is ther any other car wthat offers a direct fit rear caliper?
-
wow this thread does what it says on the tin... wheel-porn  The rims are nice too

i have to admit i didnt bleed them, i just opened the cap on the res and wound them in, the one that seemed hardest was the other side, this one (driver side) was nice and free at the time. edit: sure thing lindy

give it a good hover! helps get a suprising amount of moisture out of the seats....
-
I have always used silica gel, can get it from b&q halfords etc, just leave it in the car for a few days. and its reusuable could try a dehumidifier also but would mean buying one. or drive round with heaters on full with windows down seems to do the trick, but its the wrong time of year
-
put back the mirrors and fron bumper and i would snap it up!!
-
the back looks mk2 golf with the screen at that angle. kinda like the z3 with the big back..

So this morning my rear calliper is binding  , the disc has a blue/dark ish colour now so I’m guessing that its in need of sorting. I only changed the pads about a week ago and the calliper in question seemed fine. Is there any point in refurbing the calliper? i know that seal kits can be gotten. Basically before xmas is not a good to be buying things for the car! I know its an old question but cant find info on refurb (the cheap'o' option) Cheers

HEAT UP, bang a spline socket in, let cool down and bobs your mothers aunt -
You may find its only 1 of them, bosh only quote 80K life span but I have seen them last way longer (my old scirocco was 20 years old and 120K before one went, even with a rusty filler neck). Have each out one by one and check spray pattern into a jar etc. you can get them to spray by pushing up the plate in the air box and bridging the pump relay to get flow. Should be a strong conical spray shape. Good luck mate!!
-
they way you describe it now rings a bell, does it splutter to 3k>? if so may well be worth checking injector spray pattern as they tend show like this when blocked/in need of renewing.
-
very nice! whats involved with fitting those lovely porka callipers?
-
does it drive fine otherwise? in my car there is not really much power at 1500 rpm, changing from 3 to 4 at that rpm would result in a very slow crawl.

Is there any other way ! You puttin the wheels from your C on the mk3? should look Vnice
