Can anyone help me with an exploded view + part numbers for the radiator assembly? Mainly after the part number/s for the metal cowl which sits on the back of the rad which the fan mounts too. Be helpful to see all the parts which are associated with the assembly though. TIA

yep, mk2 recaro's will fit a corrado with no modifications but sit too high. Value wise front seats in cloth go for £200-£250 depending on condition, a complete trim is £500 in cloth £600-£900 for leather depending on condition, HTH

Thats what i like to see!!! Brand new is the only way to go on a C now there all over 10years old and your planning on keeping it. Car is looking beautiful, as usual.

Need to get a new clutch ordered, what do you recommend? I'd hope it would feel similar to the std unit in operation but be able to handle 380lbft of VR6T. TIA

There's a few reasons why i want rid of it. First one is for clearance on the turbo conversion, it really gets in the way. I'm trying to declutter the enginebay to make it easier to clean and yes, i'm not a big fan of ABS which incidently doesn't work on my car at the moment and i'm not bothered.

Read about the mod in the Golf on dubsports 4x4 VR6T(i'll dig it out and re-read). Jeff said i should do it when i spoke to him at GTi Fest. He didn't mention changing the servo.

Think Polo master cylinder is the way to go. Think its 1mm small diametre than the C and aluminium. Not complete happy with my setup, i want more intial bite which i'm hoping the smaller master cylinder will give me and the ABS is going in the bin.

try dipping them leads in solder flux :wink:

i changed the throttle body on mine last year and the whistle disappeared. I'd guess its caused by an air leak, probably wear related but never thought to investigate it as i also thought it was normal.

The rad x member is actually two pieces of 1.5mm thick steel spot welded together. Looks pretty meaty when you look down at it in the enginebay. Can can see why it rots, its very light though. The wishbones are seam welded from the factory!! Had a good look at them and can't see a way to improve them other than machining a new bracket out of stainless to hold the bottom ball joint. Started to strip one of the new wishbones down to bare metal so i'll photograph them for you and post pics, maybe you have a couple of suggestions. Did consider boxing in the holes and indents, grinding them back then polishing and chroming them but thats ridicious. Even for me.

it will be 7 years in feb 06. 10 years of corrado'ing too.

your sooo shallow Coxy. Its an amazing feat cleaning up a VR enginebay, never mind a turbo one with the extra piping.

gunna try, this arrived today, see below. Brand new rad cross member, so big shout to GPC for a brilliant price of £250 delivered (£465 dealers). Still not cheap but worth it i think on a 13 year old car. Question is, should i seam weld it??

Problem is i'm wanting a super clean engine bay so need to hide as much as possible hence the intercooler option, and some custom blueflame piping.
