Might be your car mats shifting forward, and going over the accelerator. This happened to me several years back.. was pretty worrying, especially as I was accelerating up a hill, despite having my foot on the brake
-
My front bumper looks a bit odd too, the gap just looks a bit too big. Maybe they're all like that :) Been meaning to sort mine out for ages.. There's an article on the Corrado Club of Canada website, about how to adjust it slightly, so it fits better. I'll have to find the link

I assume it's the v-belt you're after? They come in 2 lengths, depending if you've got aircon or not. B 021 145 933 C (1290mm, non aircon) B 021 145 933 H (1360mm, aircon)

As above, noticed a lot of 500 'arse' errors, hope Andi's aware :)

What's there to discuss, you make mods, you need to declare them to you insurer. Simple as that :)

They are cheap, but a real pain if you ever need to contact them.... Their webchat feature does not work. There's no one on it, and it kicks you off after a minute or two. If you try to call them, be prepared for a loooooong wait.. 'There are 9 people in the queue'

No. But they won't see any pictures in a thread -
If the fogs & indicators are still available I'll take them :)

Anyone else watch it? Got a bit sick of Mike constantly talking about the price in dollars!! They're obviously gonna air this in the US, but still, it's a UK show damn it :)

Are some parts departments deliberately unhelpful?
joebloggsVR69 replied to timthetinyhorse's topic in General Car Chat
My local Alan Day VW dealer used to have great service, but then they forcibly retired the really helpful 2 old chaps who were on the parts desk, as they'd reached 65. Now they've got some kids in to replace them, straight out of school, and they just don't seem to care about service. I've lost count of the number of times I've turned up to collect my parts, only to find stuff missing.... One time, I went in there to order parts, and some new temp made a note of the part numbers and said leave it with me, come back next week. The next week, I was there, to be told the parts were never ordered. Apparently this happened to dozens of customers which this tw@t served.... -
He fitted everything very neatly, and even removed an old tracker which wasn't working anymore. Like I say, he was a nice guy, but I just feel he didn't fit it properly. I asked him at the time about the total closure (which my old Conlog had), and he said it wasn't a feature of the new Cobra he'd fitted. Kept saying something about it being a 'safety feature', so that people wouldnt accidently chop their fingers off when the windows went up. As it turns out, the Cobra *does* have total closure, when fitted correctly.
-
He fit my alarm, but didn't add the total closure.. Think he said it wasn't a feature of the alarm, but turns out it is if it's fitted properly (I found this out later, when I got hold of the alarm installation manual) He just spliced it into the exising loom to save time. There was another guy on the forum who had the same thing happen with TW. Shame, as he is genuinely a nice chap, but in hindsight, I should've just gone elsewhere

http://store.blackforestindustries.com/bbsrsrcaswr.html $24 = £16 ..but then you add postage costs, so probably ends up costing twice that -
Someone on page 2 of your previous thread offered you a badge for £15
-
Nope, thats a rear badge. Here's a front one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Corrado-vr6-grill-badge-BREAKING-CORRADO-All-Parts-In-Stock-/251243667374 Bit pricey, but people charge whatever they like, now they are no longer available... You might be better off waiting for one to popup once someone breaks their car on here

I think you'd scratch the surface if it was metal I used to have 2 (bought from Jaguar), sold my spare to Jamie -
Pics dont work for me :(
-
Does the bumper have a purpley tint in sunlight? If it does, then I'd say it's mystic blue. On an overcast day, mine looks like a dark blue, like your bumper does. Could be the original seller had his car repainted?

Rear bumper looks like mystic blue to me
