Good find! I ordered an engine bay sticker kit off ebay a few years back, and was disappointed with the quality... They were quite obviously printed at home on the seller's inkjet... Hope these ones match the orignals :)

Thanks, much appreciated! :) I've probably driven the car less than 1k miles in the last 3 years.. In all honesty, I think I lost the love a few years back, but can't bring myself to sell up. Think I'd regret it :) Bought a Schrick manifold a few months ago, which I'm hoping to fit (once it's been given a good clean)

Thinking of doing charity Rally, what car for £500?
joebloggsVR69 replied to Hofmiester's topic in General Car Chat
What a bargain I bought a G-reg 5 series a few years back for a similar rally, for a couple of hundred quid. Starship mileage, with an auto gearbox, but it felt like driving around on a cloud. Amazing what you can get these days -
They should bring back refuelling, and sort out these bubble gum tyres... And maybe give Fettle a 10kg ballast every time he wins :-) They always go on about how an F1 car generates enough downforce that it could drive upside down. So how about adding a corkscrew to the tracks? Or have the track cross over at certain points, scalextric-style

Understandable, otherwise you'd probably end up with a dozen threads on the same topic :)

I just checked, bought mine from Classic parts, but they aren't available anymore.. only the grey ones, p/n ending 2VK. There's a similar black one used on MK4/MK5 Golf's: 357 867 169 B41 Ah, well done for finding some with Heritage :)

I bought a pair of those cover caps from VW heritage or Classic Parts DE (can't remember which..) Didn't cost much though.

Sloppy 2nd's..? (..sorry, couldn't resist )

I'm sure I've seen that car on here, think the owner is a member

Speaking of Synta Silver 10w 40, I think it's been discontinued from the dealers... Went in today, and all they had on display was the 5w 40 and 5w 30. Luckily ,they had a couple of bottles of old stock 10w 40 out the back, so made sure I nabbed those.

I think Halfords sell the aero wipers (long flat ones, similar to the Lupo GTI), but I don't think they're the proper ones for the Lupo GTI. I've got a couple of boxes here, of the ones I bought from the $tealers, part number: 6X2 955 426 A There's some on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Lupo-GTi-drivers-side-aero-wiper-blade-6X2955426A-New-genuine-VW-part-/120897962869?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c26148375

You might have bought the wiper blades which are designed to fit onto the original arms. Your photo is of a Lupo wiper arm, so you'll need the proper Lupo GTI blades. I tried those aero twin ones a long time ago, and though they were rubbish, the Lupo ones are 100x better

I found their whole piece on the Renault & Toyota (drifting, cone slalom etc.) completely pointless.. must be getting old

Do these rub the arches on a lowered corrado, or will they fit without any issues?
