  1. Mine was cutting stalling at junctions, similar to yours. It had been garaged for about 6 months, and this was the first time it was doing it. I noticed that when sitting at idle, if I had the aircon on and blipped the throttle, the car would dip below 500rpm and stall every time. Maybe too much load on the engine? When the aircon was off, it would still occasionally stall but not as often. I hooked up VCDS and saw this error: 00533 - Idle speed regulation 10-10 - adaptation limit not reached - intermittent Anyway, after reading on here, decided to eliminate the simple things first. I took apart the intake hoses and gave them a clean, checked the MAF (which was ok) and cleaned out the ISV in carb cleaner over night. Put it all back together and hasn't stalled since. Don't know if it was the ISV, or just one of the intake hoses might not have been tight enough.
  2. Car SOS on Nat Geo is a much better show tbh
  3. Anyone been watching the new series? Tonight's show must be the worst I've seen yet! They bought a nice standard RX7 for £5.5k and ruined it with some snake skin transfers on the BBS LM's, and wrapped it in some tacky black splotches... Then, to make matters worse, they sold it back to the guy they bought it off for £4k more than he sold it to them in the first place....
  4. Very nice, funny thing is, I've been looking for pics of a Corrado on these alloys! Couldn't find a single pic until now  Are they the semi-anthracite version, or fully silver?
  5. ^ totally agree ^ If you want cheap parts, buy a Ford :)
  6. AFAIK, you can't buy the grille with the closed slots - it's not even listed in ETKA. So any late grille you buy will be the one with all slats open.
  7. I bookmarked this thread, where Kev helpfully wrote a post on how to wire up the Schrick: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=7271&p=93527&viewfull=1#post93527
  8. Hi Sean, Thanks for the reply, collection anytime next week should be fine - I've got the week off :) I'll text you my details tomorrow, so you can arrange to pick them up. Thanks, George
  9. Hi, pics attached. The pods are grey, and the speakers are 150W Alpine SXS-1757. The driver's side pod doesn't need any gluing, and there's no big scuffs. I've added some close ups of the passenger side, there's a few scuffs, but nothing major. The MDF seems to have come away by a couple of millimeters, so could do with some gluing. It doesn't actually affect the structure at all, you could mount them as they are, they aren't going to fall apart :) You probably wouldn't even see it once it's on the doors. I guess it depends how fussy you are really, as I personally would glue them and give them a lick of paint. If you're interested, I'd take £125 collected, or £140 delivered :) (I'm near the A406 / M11) Cheers, George
  10. Hi, will upload some pics tonight :)
  11. I bought an early set from someone on here a couple of years ago. Was going to convert them to late spec, but never got the chance. They've got 6.5" speakers and tweeters, although I've not tested them. There's a few scuffs here and there, and the MDF could do with some re-gluing. I think they are grey, will have to double check. Might be willing to sell, if I get what I paid for them :) Cost me £140 delivered, so don't really want to take less than that.
  12. I bought one from here http://www.radiatorshop.net/categories/corrado It was a Hella rad, cost me £116 delivered They don't specify the make on the website, might be worth calling them to confirm the brand
  13. Male & female H4 connectors are available (ebay), so it shouldn't be difficult to get rid of spades altogether. Can't remember exactly what the corrado's connector is like, but I presume it's the same standard H4 connector.
  14. I think they're easily broken if you ever need to take the clocks out
  15. Love it :) Hope to see it in the flesh some time
  16. Not read the whole thread, so no idea if this has been asked, but surely these can be done with a 3D printer? Just need the originals to make a template. *edit* Ok, just read the very first post, which mentions 3D printing  There's quite a few professional printer shops which will do this
  17. Hi, have you still got the parcel shelf straps? And are they ok (no breaks in them) ? Cheers :)
  18. Looks like the roof strips are still on too
  19. Slighly off topic - Can't resist playing on that site, turns out our Corrado's are more common than Calibra's, Probe's & Fiat Coupe's http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/combined/calibra http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/combined/probe http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/combined/fiat_coupe
  20. About 4000 left, according to this http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/combined/corrado *oops* didn't realise it was posted further up
  21. Wow, never knew VW did door handle repair kits http://shop.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/vwcp/Scirocco-Corrado/Corrado/Karosserie/Aussen/Reparatursatz.html
