  1. I've just called Vince and paid the deposit :)
  2. I've had another change of mind, and decided to go for the cams.. Could you re-add me to the list please, I'll give Vince a call to arrange payment :)
  3. Can't remember how much, to be honest. It's on the bottom, so you won't see it, and it doesn't affect the rigidity of the shelf so don't worry about it :)
  4. I've got those pioneers, they're ok, but as has been mentioned those tiny rears don't make a huge difference. They sound a lot better than the standard rears, anyway. You'll have to chop the shelf a bit to get them to fit, as the magnet is larger. Did mine neatly with a jigsaw. I've got some Alpine SPX-137R in the front, so overall it sounds a whole lot better than standard.
  5. Yep, the part numbers are: 1J0 927 803 (left) 1J0 927 804 (right) I've only ever fitted dealer sensors in the past, but think they're something like £45 each..... Bought these cheapo ones, to see how long they last. Doesnt really matter if they fail, they're so cheap, I could replace them 10x over and it'd be cheaper than buying 1 new sensor.
  6. Here's what you need: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220839806261 Bought a pair off him a couple of weeks back, they work fine :) ---------- Post added at 6:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 6:17 PM ---------- Oh, and good luck getting the old one out, mine involved a lot of swearing...
  7. Where did you get your waterproof relay case, I've been looking for one for ages :)
  8. Afraid I'm gonna have to give this a miss.. :(
  9. http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9393
  10. I used to own a Corrado G60 as a daily driver, and the MPG was about the same as the VR6 around town.. Would get about 230 miles to a tank
  11. Looks like you can type other makes too.. Honda, Renault, etc. They're probably sharing a database with other car part sites, I reckon
  12. Chrome ones pop up on ebay too from time to time, but always go for £$£$
  13. There's some on fleabay, but they cost a fair whack.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400288569590 (Black centers) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290705975398 (VW centers) If you just want the plastic centers (in silver) then how about here: http://www.bbsalloywheels.co.uk/spare-parts.aspx
  14. I'm not entirely sure if it's plastic or not.... There's this identical one on amazon, and the reviewer says it's metal: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Laser-3793-Lead-Removal-Tool/dp/product-description/B0036T0IR2 And there's this other one from Laser, which *does* look metal, but it's about £10 more: http://www.lasertools.co.uk/item.aspx?cat=374&item=1082
  15. Oh bollox, maybe you're right... The product description says 'Selected steel' which I assumed meant it was made of steel..?
  16. I must admit, I find the banner ad's a bit annoying... But just noticed this little gem: http://www.toolbox.co.uk/laser-3793-ht-lead-removal-14598-113183 Yep, a *metal* VR6 ht lead removal tool Awesome, ordering now :D
  17. You could have entered free on the website ;)
  18. That Golf is insane! Love it!
  19. The foam sheet is waterproof, I used it on my MK2, years ago :) You could always get some thick plastic sheeting and cut that down instead, rubble sacks should do the trick
  20. You can't buy the plastic sheet anymore.. VW have replaced it with some foam sheet, which you need to cut to size. The silicon stuff is probably the original black mastic
