  1. Dinkus's VR6 used to have them, think they might be 16's though: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?40760-dinkus-silver-VR-Gone-to-a-new-home!
  2. Is it the transparent blue one? I bought one of those and it's never worked properly.. I ended up buying one from someone on here, which is opto-isolated. Don't think the blue one was opto-isolated, and I've heard they work better with the older VW's
  3. Where abouts are you based? There's a few peeps on here who could help out. Page 1 of the thread shows users who can scan it for you, although this is an 8 year old thread now so some of them have probably disappeared :)
  4. This is the right topic for VAG-COM too, and I get the same errors as you do if I try to use it :) VCDS Lite brings up all the fault codes too, I think. (Well, it works for me whenever I get ABS errors)
  5. I gave up trying to get VAGCOM working long ago.. Try using their other software, VCDS Lite: http://download.ross-tech.com/VCDS/download/Lite100/VCDS-Lite-1.1-Installer.exe That works for me
  6. This is probably a daft quesiton, but just want to be sure: I bought some Golf mk3 288's off ebay, and they came with the original brake hoses still attached. Can I use these hoses, or do I actually need to get the Goodridge's? Cheers :)
  7. For anyone that's interested, here's the issue of 'CarStyling', featuring the Corrado: http://www.carstylingmag.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=170&category_id=2&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=2 My link on page 2 of this thread no longer works :)
  8. I've got one, you can have it for free
  9. Might be an air leak somewhere, the central locking uses vacuum - or maybe the pump has stopped working
  10. I've noticed people driving waaay to close... I make a habit of slowing right down for speed bumps, and that clearly pi$$es off people behind me. And when the road surface is crap (full of holes) I drive slowly, and often get beeped at from whoever's behind  Too bad the council doesn't bother fixing the roads..
  11. The $tealers sell 3M butyl on a roll (p/n at top of page), and it's more than enough for both doors. Was about £16 for 5mtrs
  12. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?48470-Door-membrane-how-to-affix-to-the-door/page3 Double sided tape, for the top of the membrane: AKL 434 019 25 Black butyl stuff for the other 3 sides: AKL 450 005 05
  13. 'VRT 12V' is the older V-reg, i.e. circa 1980, not late 90's
  14. I've not had a chance to try out the reprogramming feature of the alarm, but I did ask him a few times when he was fitting it about enabling the auto-closure (which previously worked), and he kept saying the new one didn't have it, and it was a safety feature to stop people trapping their hands in the window.. When I eventually do try to enable the auto closure, I'll give him a ring if it's not working.
  15. The train & dinner party bits were totally pointless, they could have removed those bits and just made it an hour long
  16. Yep, as above, they clip into the bottom of the door
  17. The package Heritage sent was via Royal Mail, and I had to sign for it, so I assume it was sent recorded. Bought a few other bits from them at the same time, like the rad elbow and some other trim bits :)
  18. Hi, don't take this the wrong way, but I recently bought the rear VR6 badge and glovebox cover strip from VW Heritage for slightly cheaper than you're getting them from Classic Parts DE - are you sure they're doing you a good deal?
  19. Almost missed this, haven't seen much promotion of it on the beeb http://transmission.blogs.topgear.com/2011/11/30/andy-wilman-on-top-gears-india-special-wednesday-28-december-8pm-bbc2/
