You should have bought a Bosh aerial for £39. Same as the std. part - same twisty mast, same size base, etc... Just £30 less than the $tealers

I get about 240 miles max on £55 of petrol Works out to around 20 mpg :oops: But I drive on congested london roads, averaging about 12mph!

I'm just curious what you guys do when you find your struts are leaking, and you need to send 'em back - What do you do with your car in the mean time? :? Leave it on axle stands for a month or two!? Buy some cheapo temporary suspension bits? Hopefully I'll never have to find out, even though I've got FK's! :|

America has 2.8L corrados. They probably made the euro ones 2.9 because it was their flagship car at the time

The standard VW kit consists of a Sachs clutch & LUK pressure plate, IIRC.

About 15bhp on high end cars :wink: They tested a Subaru-something-or-other and it made about 235bhp on crap supermarket fuel, and over 250bhp on Optimax Made no difference on some crappy renault they also tested though :lol: -

And the prices seem a little bit higher than previous GB's - £574.58 for Konigsports :? Was £500 for Konigs, £560 for Silverline-X back in March IIRC. (including VAT + delivery!) If you're interested, I think the guy in this thread says this GB finishes on the 16th of Nov.

You can get the high-end Konigs for good prices when there's a group buy on. I bought my Silverline-X for about £560 inc. delivery about 8 months ago.

rmn, did you take this pic back in March, at Alexandra Palace? I went to that show 8) That beemer 635 was a beauty. I went with a couple of other people - 1 of which owns the last off the production line 635 CSI Motorsport. He works for BMW, and takes whatever he likes home 8) :lol: He bought one of these new 635's round recently; I wasnt too keen on the looks at first, but when you're up close or inside it, you cant help but admire the quality of the thing!

Was browsing through The Golf while in WH Smith this afternoon, and they had an article on a G60 that Jabba had tuned to 300BHP. I think it had a 1.9ltr engine, but it was still 8v! Didnt get a chance to read the whole article fully tho.. Anyone seen it? Does the owner read the forum? :)
