  1. :offtopic1: The mk3 Golf Anniversary had BBS split rims as std. I guess the accountants must have been down the pub when they were approved :)
  2. Was just looking at that, and thought it looked pretty classy 8) Might just go with that or the 9853. Keep 'em coming guys :)
  3. This one? http://www.internetdirect.co.uk/autorad ... 7700mp.htm £165
  4. I'm after a new headunit, now that my current Kenwood has decided to die. Anyone recommend anything decent, sub £200? Must play mp3's. I'm tempted by this Kenwood: http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/89783/a ... adio.html# Do any of you guys have this? Any opinions on it? Cheers :)
  5. Apparently a VW Touareg might have won 8) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4322542.stm Amazing how these guys manage to build these autonomous cars on a relative shoestring budget, when the US military spends countless millions of $ :)
  6. They probably dont want it to embarass the Golf by giving it too much HP
  7. I ordered a Bentley manual from Amazon.com (america) and only paid £50. Thats including the shipping to the UK. Much better than the £75 or so that it costs in the UK  Didnt have to pay any import duties on it, maybe I was lucky
  8. Parked on a double yellow! Nice pic & wheels though 8)
  9. Pretty sure they dont do them in 205/50/15's anymore though..
  10. Is that real? Cant help but think its a photochop-jobby :?
  11. I'm sure most tyre places can repair that for about a tenner
  12. I'd say check the brake disks havent warped and the pads are ok
  13. So raise it  :) I wouldnt mind a sump guard too
  14. You can probably still recover the files. Theres a windows program that does it, I think its called "Recover My Files" or something. But you'll need to have two physical HD's - one of them is used to store the recovered files
  15. Thanks for the compliment  My original measurement was from the centre of the wheel to the center of the wheelarch, but I'll go outside now with the tape measure  *EDIT* Hmm... I dont think my measurement is too accurate, as the car is on a bit of a slope. I've read 59.5cm rear & 58cm at the front - sounds a bit low when I look at your figures Kev :? I'll re-do it when I'm parked level
  16. Here's mine, on Konig Silverline-X Pic 1 = Standard 4x4 ride height Pic 2 = Just after coilovers fitted -50mm back and front Pic 3 = As above, but on Speedo's Pic 4 = -50mm at the back, -35mm at the front Current height is as pic 4. Too many bumps around here...
  17. Just a reminder for anyone with Discovery Realtime :) I think they do up a Lancia Delta Integrale tonight 8)
  18. I'm gonna be taking my solitudes off the car for the winter, and stick my set of speedlines back on. The solitudes are going in the shed, but someone told me it's worth raising the air pressure in the tyres while they're stored. Does this make any difference to anything? :? Or would *lowering* the pressures be better?
  19. Mmmm 850i... 635M Csi is also a fantastic motor. 8) I happen to know the owner of the last ever registered 635M Csi. It's a minter worth £20k! He even has a certificate from BMW to prove it :) I'll see if I can find some pics
