was only joking, you'd do ok breaking it although you'd be more limited than normal as you wouldn't want to sell any body panels separately and you'd only have engine ancillaries not the complete unit to sell.. fix it or keep it, thats what it deserves.

mine got 205 on its best standard run and now with schrick manifold and 268 cams and a bmc it does 214. with a decat exhaust and a larger throttle body they get close to 220 yes

dont know what 2nd hand G60 engines cost but actually replacing it is a day of someone capable's time (a friend preferably). i would guess maybe £700 but i dont know if anyone would give you more than £1500 for it as a shell. you should be able to sell it for more than £2200 (I'd hope..?) did i mention it looks really good?! :)

buy a 2nd hand engine and put it in then sell it, you'll lose out if you sell it needing the work done... looks very nice.

Any photos as thats the only one I could find. Tedman Ive already contacted the guy and the silver ones. The Monti's do look good but then so do the 4motion ones. Heres another one with TT's, Im not 100% convinced on them. bear in mind that the 16" TTs are not the completely smooth faced ones that people polish up as those are 17". the ones in the pic have a little line running round the edge and aren't "quite" as good looking imo.

the schrick cams are the 268 ones and are a fair old whack at $749 with todays exchange rates you're probably better off with the schimmel 263s which are cheaper and perform a bit more evenly over the rev range vs the 268s which are quite "toppy". seems like you may have just missed the Group Buy though :( viewtopic.php?f=25&t=71062&start=225 oh, and pm on its way back soon - sorry, have been v busy at work this week..

to be honest i always find that the cat guard is the thing that scrapes first on mine. if you want a different sump, kev (cheesewire) did a write up on the VR6 Owners Club forum about whats needed to fit the r32 sump which is angled and marginally shallower (although ironically more prone to damage due to what its made of)..

Leon, Call up Phillip Walker at PW Motorsport (googles easily), I'm sure he'll have the best "shop" price for the caps even if he has to order them in. Otherwise ebay but may take a while to find them. Don't get too panicked that they went, even though it sucks... I can't think there are that many RC's around so I think you'd be unfortunate if they went again. John

mine is clearly corroded to hell as at the moment i only have 1 sidelight, 2 dipped and 0 main beam. am definitely in the market for a quality loom in the very near future..
