Well i got mine and fitted them, havent got any pictures to put yet as im still adjusting the suspension so have been busy. I must say though im impressed with them and think that they suit the car. :D

They look really good on the beetle mate and the beetle itself is beauty :luvlove: . Mine are coming with black centres.

they come with tyres new wheel bolts and locking bolts. I ordered them from rimstyle. Infact they had an offer on as the came with a make of tyre called enduros but i could upgrade to yokohamas for a fiver per wheel so i did that :D

Thanks mate, i cant wait to get them on now. They should be delivered tomorrow. They come in et 38 or et 25 or a mix of both if you want to get the backs out a bit further. Ive gone for 25's all round hopefully that should give me a bit of clearance for some different front brakes. Yeah i did really like the rotas, but with them i would of been settling for what would fit as the nicer rims are 5x100 or weird japanese PCD's

Hey everyone, Havent been on for a few days as my internet was down. Well i have gone for the lensos. I wasnt too sure what i wanted and decided to give them a try. I realise theyre a copy wheel but not too bothered tbh, i didnt have the money to splash out on bbs and these are a good compromise. Dont get me wrong id love a set of genuine ones but its just bad timing. I havent decided which way im heading with the car yet but i think these will look good for now. I did like the idea of the rotas but i think the car will suit these more. Il get some pics up the car when the wheels arrive and i'll also get some pics up of the image wheels also. Personally I think its quite sad that people look down there noses just because people opt for a more affordable product im sure everyone in an ideal world would take the bbs's but peoples different budgets etc affect this. Your right it is sad, it personnally doesnt bother me im more bothered about going to a show and seeing 200 cars with the same wheels as me lol. But for what it would cost for a genuine set of bbs wheels similar to that style and tyres, i reckon i could have them wheels and uprate the brakes and suspension for not too much more

Does anbody know how a 7x16 et40 or et 45 wheel would sit on a corrado as ive seen a few nice sets of rotas i think would suit it :nuts: after looking i think theyd sit too far in.

I use hic. However my cars not quite 15 years old yet. But they do a classic car policy with up to 7500 miles a year on cars that are 15 years old. And as its a classic car policy theres no no claims bonus on this type of policy. They were quite cheap for me.

Cheers, yeah i thought about the different offsets il have a word with the people who supply them if i decide to get them. I really like the look of them to but your right they are just a rip off of the bbs which doesnt bother me however they seem quite popular so im still on the lookout for something a little different. Also i dont really go on ed38 so thats not much of a concern :lol: I have been on the image website, however the udated version of mine are like 280 pounds a wheel so things like rim edges etc are gonna be quite expensive and id have to do all four plus the fact they are 17's and id much prefer 16's on it so i think it will be a new set of wheels. If im spending that sort of money fixing my existing ones id rather have a new set to my liking. However im trying to pick a set that will allow me to fit some fourpots up front also. Spose you cant have your cake and eat it.

Hey everyone, My new rado has some 7.5 x 17 image 3 piece splits fitted. They were leaking causing the tyres to deflate, I split them and started cleaning them so i could reseal them. Any way long story short one of the wheels is cracked when i got it apart. They arent in very good condition anyway some im thinking about a new set. I havent a clue what type as theres so much choice. I have seen these on rim style that I like the look of, and i would prefer 16's on it anyway. http://rimstyle.com/products/packages/w ... dditional= my question is you can choose a different off set form front to rear to make the rears stick out a bit further but which set to get that would suit a rado best? Also I would like to fit some four pot brakes at some point, i had ibiza brembos on my last rado with 305 mm discs under 16 inch speedline comp 2's. Do you think a similar brake setup would fit under these? I know they fit under some and not under others.

Do any of you guys have any photos of your engines around the water temp sender area, I have found a two pin plug with a brown and white wire and a lilac type purple. From what i have read you need the purple for the water temp gauge. It seems i have a live onto this purple that is red and yellow. Does this plug with the two wires need to plug into anything as i cant physiaclly see anything. Sorry for all the questions. I dont have any wiring diagrams so am pretty much working blind :shrug:

i posted this up in the 20v thread so sorry for double posting. I figured more people might see it here. I have a 20v converted 2.0 16v. Now from what i have read the 16v fuel pumps do make a bit of noise, which mine does. my g60 never made any so its hard to compare. The car has misfired a couple of times under hardish acceleration. Im blaming the way ive been driving it as i tend to potter round in a high gear because it can. its only done it a few times and 99% of the time is fine. It just got me thinking though should i look at replacing the fuel pumps. Is it worth upgrading them, i read the standard ones are good for 330bhp so they should be fine. Ive just read that they can fail all of a sudden and dont want to melt a piston or something. Are they worth replacing or am i worrying about nothing? :confused4: Thanks

Cheers it sounds like the one outside the car thats making the noise it doesnt sound bad its just a constant whirring noise

The fuel pump on my 20v converted 2.0 16v is quite noisey. I am thinking about just replacing it to be safe, there are 3 on the euro car parts site ones 150 odd quid the other 115 and the last one around 100. My question is it worth uprating it while im on doing it or will the 16v one be ok. Ive read that the standard fuel pumps are good for about 330bhp buit dont know how accurate it is. Also are the pumps noisey on a 16v. You could hear then one on my g60 prime and then it ran silent.

Hey, not sure where to put this but just bought a 20v rado using the mbe ecu. the water and oil temp gauges arent working. Does anbody know of a website etc that has wiring diagrams, so i can try and get them to work. Is a 95 2.0 16v originally. I dont have a bentley manual but any online wiring diagrams would be great. Im not to sure mate, me and my dad did the one on mine, there is loads of guides on the internet, isnt there a vw place over in darlo? failing that volkswerk etc should be able to do it.

Me and my dad did the work when i owned the car like fitting the new charger etc, but before i owned it a few forum members had owned it and they two had done alot of work done. I fell really lucky buying this one as it was the 1st one i went to see and it had been really looked after and had some really good choice modifcations already done to it. Im after another one now like, either a 20vt one or a vr6 this time though i think. I think theres a guide on here on how to setup a g60 like the co pot etc. Mine used to run really rich also and wasn't brilliant on fuel however it used to produce some nice flames when pushing it a bit harder :D

Dont know the ans to your question but i dont think its worth the hassle or expense when there are tried and tested products out there. I dont think a centrifugal charger would suit the charcter ofthe g60 engine. I think somebody on vw vortex tried it with not very good results.

Im on the lookout for another corrado and have seen a couple on pistonheads and as far as i know theyre not advertised on here. Does anbody know of either car and also what are your opinions on them? Its proving quite difficult to contact the guy about the black one hence the reason for this post really. Zider apple, cheeres for that. i always fancied rebuilding an engine but have no experience of doing so. Not sure werther it would be worth fitting a lower milage 24v motor and taking it from there. This all depends on the base car that i buy. I also havent had a quote for a vrt yet either lol mite have to go the 20vt route for insurance reasons.
