  6. Yeah gotta agree with the comment, we just never know how long we are here for :( I cant help thinking things just aren't right though somewhere. To have the world at your own feet doing what he always wanted to do and then have a six week old daughter then have to dissapear forever! Big Sigh!
  7. Some sad news today :( a friend of mine has sadly died in an accident at home and i just cant believe it! He was a customer in the cycle shop i worked at and as we chatted about things in general when he became a regular it seemed we had a lot in common, we both had VW's Tim has a old beetle and we were both fellow who fans so actually went to see a few bands now and then as well as quite a few rides on the bike too. He worked as a postman then his lucky break came a few years ago when fellow sheffield legend and long term friend of Tim's Richard hawley recomended him to Jarvis Cocker as his replacement as Richard wanted to go solo for a while. Imagine how he must have felt to be given the job of touring the world and living the high life when weeks before you were getting up at 4 am to deliver mail. He was the most modest man you would ever meet and never bigged himself up, he just used to say he got a lucky break. He was a superb rider too and put me in some serious pain on more occasions than i can remember. His first child was born on the 9th of January this year. Such a tragedy. Miss you already dude. :( http://www.thestar.co.uk/headlines/Shef ... 6083296.jp http://www.daretobecreative.co.uk/profiles/tim.php
  8. No problem, their turnaround is very fast too so worth a thought in the future, although I wont be responsible if they do a bad job  But I wouldn't let them loose on mine if they were tht bad! :?
  9. I think that depends where you are though, I've had at least 3 places say £200/panel to me in and around london. I'm not saying thats not a rip off but just that it varies a lot! John, bring it up here mate i'll sort you out with my paint boys and i'll loan you one of my cars while it gets done, can even put you up if you like :salute:

  14. One of my work chums has been messing about lately too, he bought some wheels from lowdown vw tfor around £150 then wanted them stipped and the rim polished £180  and they still need the rest of the wheels painting too :brickwall: Why FFS they will look shite i can tell you, in fact i may even post a pic when he's done them Lol! all this money on fairly average wheels too and i know/guarantee that in less than a year he will have sold them on. They change their flippin wheels as often as i change my pants!

I didn't actually make this for whatever reason or another and i was in the club then too so it would be fab to do this again.
