  1. Superb and I have to agree with most of it if not all of it.
  2. Indeed they are, Jude has just had one of the becker units fitted to her new storm and it looks superb with the Corrado dash very period looking and the sound is awsome too :)
  3. Now that one seriously hacks me off too and have to say I occasionally undertake but I'm a bit paranoid about getting pulled over for it, why i dont know coz numpty i just passed on the outside lane was using a mobile while driving. I think you should be able to take pictures of drivers using mobile's while driving with your phone (although not while you are driving) and send them to a database that automatically sends a £50 fine to the owner of the car and as a reward you would get £10 back for shopping the twits, that'd stop em
  4. Shocking pickies indeed but i'll tell you now that no one gives a damn about it! they justnever think its going to happen to them so continue to use them while driving. Only today while out cycling I must have seen 30 plus all when traffic was busy and what's even worse is that now they are bannedthose who use them also try to hide them so it makes it even worse as they are looking down all the time. I shouted at some d*$k using on today while driving over the A628 woodhead pass as he was all over the place but he just stuck 2 fingers up,something he regretted 2 mile down the road as there was a massive que of traffic at the roundabout so i pulled along side opened his door he was Still on the phone too, And shouted get the f@*k off that phone. He bricked himself and did so. I asked Look mate is it REALLY worth it and no it wasn't he said he wasn't a small guy either and i know it was stupid to do that but when you are out riding and someone nearly knocks you off it kinda gets you mad as you're are hyped up from riding anyway. Rant over but it really gets me mad.
  5. Hi mate, guess it depends on a few things but as said before start collecting magazines with corrado's for sale to give the insurers an idea. Sorry to hear your bad news too! :( Good luck.
  6. Oh bugger! never mind, bear it in mind next time you see anything up our way then :)
  7. Hello Monkey! I'm in sheffield so could pick it up but I wont be at the meet this weekend but happy to collect and sort something else out. Where is the item based? Kip.
  8. Hi Mate, I had a go at this myself a couple of years ago and if i can do it anyone who knows how to hold a spanner the right way can do too  At the front i only replaced discs and pads though as the calipers were working fine but at the rear i replaced the discs and the bearings which sit inside the discs as they are pretty cheap to replace and easier to fit new ones than remove the old one's anyway, also new rear pads too! I have a tool made by sykes pickevant? which winds back the pistons on the rear which makes the job a doddle, i also use it on the fronts too and use the old pad as a surface to press the piston back on those as well. The rear brakes were seized too, the parts where the actual caliper slides on the caliper carrier where you need to use a spanner to stop it spinning as you bolt everything back together. One was rusted into the carrier solid so I had to replace the carrier bit with one from a scrap yard, to prevent this happening again i removed all of the slider posts/studs and really cleaned them up to remove all the rust as they had almost seized up too so lots of grease when they went back together and they move as smooth as silk now, but bear in mind mine doesn't see winter either :) I then bought one of those easi bleed kits which uses pressure from an inflated tyre to push new fluid through, took about 20 mins for this little job and i didn't even remove the wheels as i have skinny arms to get in there while the car is on all four wheels, simply use some old clear pipe pushed onto the bleed nipple and a jar to catch the old fluid. My drive is dead flat too if that helps. All parts were standard stuff from the dealers too. Enjoy! Kip.
  9. Cheers Bill, Will get some first then have a chat with you :) Thanks!

  12. Jim, try Chris Knott insurance too! 0800 9172274 always pretty good for me and judith but as said i guess it can depend on everyones own circumstances :? If you're a club member you can get even more discount, just a thought in case you haven't already tried them.
