Hi Dave, Just a quick one to say glad you made it to our house warming last weekend was good to see you and the family again and thanks awfully for the spin in the VRT WHEEEEEEEEEEEE! what a car  :salute: :luvlove: you got me seriously thinking about 288's now too having tried them out on yours and seeing the pictures of the size differance  cant believe they are so much bigger! Hope to see you on sunday with a special speedline cake Lol!

Lol! Nice one
-
Im guessing you mean mine there Lol! unless you like Judes plate better?
-
Certainly do try as suggested above HIC or Chris Knott. Been using them both for over 7 years now, this year it was £221 fully comp protected but im knocking on a bit now (yeah rite) you can sometimes get a discount if you are a member of a club like the Corrado Club of G.B. and the £10 joining fee is always retrived on you policy premium. I Always use my dealers mate and their customer service is fantastic but i guess that depends on the said dealer, I've been using the same one for 15 years so am on first name terms too, so i guess going regular can help matters. I dont buy everything there though but the biggest majority of our bits come from there.

He He! it gets easier and cleaner every time you do it Tom :)

Will have to sort that Vaughan, what morph style like in take hart Lol! or could get jude to bake some cake ones :luvlove:
-
Well i have lots of pics from doing various things to my Corrado but i haven't posted anything up about it so here's a few for you to take a peek at, hope you like them. they were all taken on a phone too so the quality is a little poor if you try and blow them up but some more recent ones are on a much better camera.

How did you get on with this Colsy :?
-
-
RX's for me mate, when you paint them silver Lol!
-
Hi John, if its on one of the larger panels I cant see why not, call down with it and ask them and i'm sure they'll advise. :norty:
-
well i think he did it a little cheaper so it's hard to say i guess but when he did my rear quater it cost £175 and included sorting out the mess i made as well as removing the bits inside the petrol flap, (the bits which lock the cap inplace) as there was a small bubble in there. I have some pics somewhere i'll try and sort them out for you to see tomorrow!
-
 At being an inspector! will sort you a number out, the onlly inspecting i do is when a car of mine or judith's is there having something done to it. I am one picky son of a b itch when it comes to my car as some folk will tell you so i'm always checking on progress while its there and they are ok with that, i even take pics of different stages, ie, filler, primer, paint etc just so i have a record of it. By what you say it's sounding like whole panel stuff as i had to have my rear quater painted in may this year due to a small cock up on my behalf but thats another story :|

They are really good price wise mate, and i certainly wouldn't recomend them if they weren't any good. I'll get a contact number next week if you like but i think its one of those things where they need to see it if you know what i mean. I work nearby too so can keep calling in to check up on it if you leave it there  which is what i do by the way! Lol!

Hi Mate, Get down to FRUDDY Auto's which is located within the grounds of CENTURY MOTORS on catchbar lane, sheffield S6 area. They have done a few bits to mine and judith's car recently and are excellent as well as competative not to mention fast! Take the car round for a quote and ask for Richard, Ben or steve all family by the way and tell them KIP sent you and you may get a better rate  Kip.

Hi Mate, Did mine a while back and part numbers are, 191615611D & 191615612B not sure which side is which i'm afraid but am sure this'll help if you order from a dealers. the were less than £10 but that was 3 years ago :| Paul

Anyone got any pics of a stock VR6 with stock suspension?
KIPVW replied to Mawrick's topic in Drivetrain
The late ones do sit a little higher but as david said earlier the earlier VR6 springs sit the car a fair bit lower especially at the rear! i think its before 1994 if i remember right but dont quote me on that. -
