  2. Just a quick question? what is the part number on the lower part of the dampers? As I'm concerned mine is not for the fatter VR6 ! Im on about spring rating... says golf II on paperwork 37-118 kw Front spring max weight 840 kg rear spring max weight 740 kg might just be me..... :roll:

  7. There are two part numbers,one is the 037103493k and the other 037103493h is for colder climates but looks different than yours. I've got a VR6 but have ETKA to look up useful part numbers :wink:

They were being sold on E-Bay 199 pound + 15 postage Brand new !! :shock: But looks like he's gone on holiday or dropped dead !! he had 33 sets to sell,and sold ten so there will be more :) You can go directly to the German E-Bay, same thing and postage will be similar.. Use Goolge bar to translate...bit iffy but works..   12. I've bought a set...still haven't received them :( 2 weeks later :mad: For the money they are good ...TUV approved 2 year guarantee. Lots of German lads have them on ,lots of good reviews and some bad,mainly bad reviews off mates-mates cars that had them on :? ,but hardly a bad review buy the owners. :D Its worth it for the money....... :shock: Just coz its cheap doesn't mean its crap :wink: I will soon find out :twisted: :mrgreen:

  16. Don't what size yet maybe 17" ET 30 for practicality plus the rims will look bigger than they are :twisted: . Or 18" ET 35 running 225/40/18 Tyres :twisted: they will look so good but ride quality will suffer :( Going to have one or the other hmm :mrgreen:

  19. Well I have finally bought some Lupo arms and blades as everybody has recommended :mrgreen: They look well and work well ...me mucho mucho pleased :wink: Also ordered new wiper linkages and spindles all round as they are worn to death :lol:

Here is one I tried,the only problem is when unsticking the film from the glass it smudges and is still covered in glue,I tried removing the glue with not much luck :( On the clock I peeled the film off and stuck it on the inside of the plastic holder,which works fine but attracts dust,fingerprints ect....so no touching I also removed the green film inside and it gave it a cool orange look. busy getting some blue bulbs to see what happens :mrgreen: Then its time to get some new dial faces..... 8) The pictures dont do it justice !!
