you have to pull out dash then unbolt heater box from inside the engine bay as heater matrix faces the bulkhead.....crap i know but its not a bad job !

just for a small matrix you end up having to rip out dash....jeezzz!!

Wot sort of bhp kits are you running? 100 BHP wot u think should be the 'max' bhp kit for a VR With a progressive controller upto (on a std motor) 150-200 bhp also how well does a VR handle NOS in terms of damage to ur engine can they take it or do you just end up burning rings etc They can handle it well...as long as its fuelling right !! Misshapes occur from lack of experience when setting the kit up (running to lean) Been running my kit for over a one and a half years an a 145k motor....she still purrs  Other lads been using there's for 2-3 years !! and last how would you describe the result low med or, NUTS!!!! Go from a Corrado to a Cerrera turbo by a flick of a switch !! NUTS Also ..the cynics on here say you cant put over 200bhp let alone 300-350 bhp through front wheels ect ... Rubbish ...the corrado can put the power down very well without lighting up front wheels much better than most front wheel drive cars... 8) and with no mechanical failures I'm gona get stick for this...lol

If you lift out the airbox, you will see the valve and the canister bolted to the innerwing, its job is to filter out the fuel vapours from the fuel tank before they go into the atmosphere
-
Its a vacuum take off for the valve infront of your airbox, which intern leads off to the carbon canister(all for fuel tank emissions) :| Getting rid of wont make any difference
-
Its a AG unit Kev and i need to find one, know any Tel numbers i could ring?

I did a continuity check from injectors to ecu plug its fine, its fine when cold but gets worse as engine temp rises,I know it will be an ECU fault so im on the look out for one
-
I've heard this also but it works fine.. I've put OE chip back in and its the same !! Once its cold it will run fine for 1-2 minutes and then it will just gets worse as it warms up.....ideas?

Hello all Drove home from work the other day ,came close to my house and the car started to splutter badly and kicking out loads of fuel at the rear.(from the exhaust) Anyhow..Did the usual and checked for worn plugs ect ..but they are new same with leads,No 2 Cylinder is Very wet with fuel, cranked it over without plugs and fuel spurted out of no two Thought I had F**ked injector!? Took of manifold then fuel rail cranked over to see if injectors where ok...but no. When key is cranked for a split second No2 Injects continuously until you switch off ignition?? Swapped over two injectors still the same with No 2.. So not to bore you,its been fitted with a crappy superchip for over a year now and I suspect its the fault. Going to go back to the company who fitted it to get it fixed, but from past history they are con's and will do sod all So I have the stock Cpu in front of me...thinking of putting the old girl back in :D
-
Ive sent hole kit back today and will be Ringing Vince during the week,Ive had it With Think Automotive :x
-
The early golf, passat had the manifold raised higher to take place of were the cover lies now ,that had DOHC 2.8 machined into it...maybe that's the one? :?
