Hi there Mike Here is a pic to give you an idea were the ISV Valve is and the T.P.S Switch is :mrgreen:

Push the indicator from the middle(next to the fog) towards the side and pull out. its a bit to easy when you know how :? and then you will see a row of screws around the black plastic frame,take them out and your fog will come out,you will get the idea as soon as you take out indicator :wink:

Don't look orange on the car,just the flash in camera bringing out the orange reflector..I think :? Phil K I got a mate how works at VW so got good discount Total amount was £ 52.45 which I think was good :mrgreen: The fogs which I'm to pick up are a bit more pricy..£53 quid each :shock: Both of mine are knackered so need them.. :oops: Also got two new headlamp glass lenses and am in the motion of getting the reflectors re-chromed :D then the front end will look like new 8) As Kev said 10 years takes there toll

Had a weekend up in Edinburgh and Spotted a Red Corrado J 186 RRJ RED Not sure what model it was. Also a Black, looks like VR6 L 639*** While i was there had my car coverd in greasy chips and gravy whilst asleep and it was reversed into Fu**ing tw*ts :mad: But it was Fun :D

If anybody has looked in there doors they will see that the guide rail does just that..Guides the glass up and doesn't hold it firm at the top since you mentioned full stop that weather strips have nothing to do with it seems you have already done so,with the weather strips fitted properly it will solve the rattle and it is the job of all the seals guides ect to keep the window tight, in your case maybe not.

I've striped my doors down to find this fault that somebody had mentioned,but there was nothing besides the window rail/guide,the support was needed at the top half of the door and not the lower half of the door as nothing supports it besides the two inner and outer weather strips (its like a sandwich and the glass is the ham)changed the rubber strips and presto...but im sure this is all coincidence :? Another mate changed his strips and the rattle went...but im sure this is all a coincidence hey Kev?

VW is the place and they are about 40quid each :shock: They are supposed to push up against the glass to keep out water,wind and to stop the window rattle ......its worth the money to stop that anoying rattle :mad:

Mine did the same until I replaced the window seal that run along the top of the door,it holds the window nice and tight :D

I still cant wait to get these ........... :twisted: Just say when Andi and ill send you the cash :wink: I'm sure everybody wanting these are much appreciative of you sorting them out and wont mind the wait :D

Im 26 and insurance companys wont give me third party cover to drive any car cos im a mechanic :? Just another way to stiff ya... :mad:
