  1. whats post count got to do with knowing your stuff? Obviously no idea who Beavis is ! That aside, fair play nanaman - count me in for a ride!! 8) Hey Dboy whos "nanaman" lol  it sounds so funny!!
  2. The seal that runs around the screen is supposed to be nice snug fit without sealant ,but like many when a replacement windscreen is fitted its often taped to keep it in place while the bond dries ,but it sags down :? and you tend to get a bigger gap in the top and that's why its slack.. Do as Mike says..I have :D
  3. Got a mate with a Ford Zetec S that is running N.O.S ..anyway he was pi$$ing about with the jet sizes ...ran to lean on the fuel and BANG holes in three pistons one piston shattered and bent a rod ...engine Fu**ed Anyway just be careful when setting it up as most nitrous horror stories happen like this and is not the fault of the two(fuel and nitrous) combined But its soooooooooooo Fun :D
  4. Your the first !!! One of many :D Looks good mate
  5. I got one off E-Bay some guy selling them and it was fiberglass,it was a molded ontop of an original one so its not a good fit so i just put it in the loft :x Thats the last thing i will buy off E-Bay :x Blimey guys, I didn't have to much trouble fitting myn in the end  RE: CorradoVR6-n.o.s. Hi James. I sold that spoiler to you. It's not a cheap remould, there was nothing wrong with it. For all fibreglass add-ons, there is always some preparation to do prior to fitment. With a bit of care, they can look great. Sorry you were disappointed. I wasn't aware that you weren't happy with it until I read this.[/quote:28212] Ive had one before that was plastic molded and fits a Fine with no hassel and its thinner than the fiber one the fiber one also has to be pushed on quite hard to stop it rubbing the edge of the bonnet,im not pi$$ed off and dont want to start a war ,im just going to sell it on.
  6. Not my Cup-of-tea but it looks like its had a lot of hard work ,so good on him(her) :D
  7. it will be worse at this time of year with the damp air, next time you get the oil changed, give it a good thrashing then drop the oil out and this should get rid of it,or do it the harder way i said before.. :D But its nothing to be botherd about
  8. I would not concern yourself over it as the engine warms up the dampness in the engine will condense on the underside of the rockercover mixing with the oil , to get rid of it take off the manifold and rocker cover clean out the cover and put it back on and then the next 40k + you can do it again when it builds up :D
  9. Hmmm :? and to think i just said my spolier wont work when freezing

  11. Hmm  the hairdryer was loaned for scientific purposes only  It must be a safe thing to stop the spoiler coming up when frozen over ,what I mean is if the back was totally frozen the motor would burn out or put something under heavy stain trying to break the ice :? Flying about when its below freezing isn't a safe bet anyway so you would get away with the spoiler down at safe speeds :D
  12. Hello All I was driving down the A1 towards Newcastle this morning, and it was so cold :x-mas: and the MFA outside temp said -2 c and my rear spoiler wasn't coming up when it normally does. So I made sure I could hear the motor and I tried the manual switch but no joy (it wasn't frozen over ) so I had a thought and stuck a hairdryer on the outside temp probe to get the temp up and hey presto as soon as it went above freezing it worked :? Must be some sort of fail safe device to stop damage Clever stuff eh ....
  13. You can use my speedlines ,just dont tear up the rubber  Give us a P.M
  14. Oh i forgot ,my mate did the paint for me so it was cheep
  15. Thanks Bally ive still got my 17's that i had before but they were not on when i took the pics :D As for the silver VR6 thats ChrisVR6-nos with a supercharged nitro powerd beast  I was doing a few odds and ends on it that needed doing( as we all do  ) P.S what type of wheels do u have on your C?

  18. Back from paint and its looking gooooood :D Gone for a darker green this time  Emerald Green..nice Also sprayed the badge same colour too cos it was looking sad
  19. I would change the water pump to make sure the flow of water is good as the blades can rot away with no antifreeze and the blades that are attached to the shaft of the pump can spin loose( ive seen this many times) as for the secondary water pump it mainly comes in when the engine is off as the pump keeps the water flowing until the fan gets the water temp down... But my money is on water pump having no blades left..
  20. Like Wize for me ,just love em dubs ive owened MK1 golfs x2 Sciroccos x3 and the Corrado was always somthing i wanted so i got one and wont look back.. :D
  21. Morgan Aero 8 ..when i used to work for a Morgan dealer WOW....What a car
  22. I t will be safe to drive, but as long as you dont go to mad in it untill you get it sorted the worst you can do is scrub off your tyres..and it probably wont handle the same..so be reserved As for the drive shaft, jack the car up on the side you bumped ,lie down and look at the shaft and turn the wheel and watch the shaft to see if it runs true ,you will know if its bent.. :D
  23. Lol  Havent looked at the handbook yet lol Got to find out the hard way :D
