Thanks :) its 90% complete,the interior is still out but everything is back together,once the trim is back in then i can sort out the ride hight and redo the camber and tracking...then its ready to roll.... :cheers:

Yours is really on another level now, I think this is a job for next winter now for you, you must be dying to finish reassembly and get back behind the wheel. yes it will be a next winter job if i keep the car...but for now and im sure i speak for the rest, roll on summer! 8)

Thanks for the replys folks,i must admit it stressed me to bits getting the car painted,im a worrier and thought the arches would look poop when they were done but im over the moon with it :D just need to get it outside to open the doors and finish them off as the garage is to damn narrow! :( sorry... you asked for it :tongue:

Ive put the rear glass in tonight and thought it might be worthy of some pics,its well dirty/dusty ect...will be fitting front screen tomorrow and then finishing the doors...then maybe fit the front brakes and wheels,play with suspension hight if i have time... you are lucky with them tt rims,lots of clearance! mine has a around 4mm :lol:

they are very wide callipers! are the wheel going to fit over them?

yea but they are not cheap.....you are best off finding one of here mate plenty are being broken up.

the motors are different form later to early style,the don't interchange without chopping of sunroof and then the wiring.

Have you tried a compression wet test to find out if its valves or rings?

check the coil pack and lead,plugs etc mate,you got a obd port to check for codes?
