  1. The bumpers on the later corrrados stick out past the arches,so it was just a matter of matching them up,then i sanded the line on the bumper away so it matches the arches, hope that helps mate. :)
  2. Im sure as long as i own any car i will get board of it in time and i will want something new and the corrado is no differnent hence why i like to keep busy and keep on improving/changing things....i just cant simply leave any car alone!! :ignore: But you have a good reason to keep yours as there are a handfull over there...so its special  and looks 8) As for what car next,S3 for me,very tunable car,4wd and all the toys....one day...one day :D Yes i know....and i DO need help! Also when i went through the thread and re-added all the pics i had seen all the time i said...."those words" Get it back together and driving on the road again....this will light a fire up my ass im sure :luvlove: But thanks for all the positive coments folks :salute:
  3. Very cool, this is something i plan to do this year minus the snow..
  4. Ive seen tyres causing heavy pulling to one side juddering under braking and all other bizarre problems, its also the easiest to try by swaping over wheels.
  5. Yea ive been told this a few time on this forum  and i never learn, its this time of year that kills me...roll on summer ! :D
  6. Right as you can tell im in a love hate relationship with my car and im sure im not the only one on the forum But ive been doing some more work to get it back on the road and im falling for it AGAIN like a little puppy dog! :brickwall: these cars should have a warning label on warning of the addictive properties of smack!! Let me set the scene..........room with about 8 members and growing fast, all sitting around in a circle and im a member, .....i stand up..." Hi im james and im ...um...an Corrado addict " alll other members cheer me on and so forth... thats how my life is....i have to return to this group often when i relapse and yes it does not take long.. :| Anyway, ive spent most of the day adding all the broken links to this thread all were lost when photobucket cocked it well up.....so 4hrs later and its done, sad i know but its snowing outside and ive got nothing better to do  also its made me realise the stupid amount of time ive spent on this car relapse is setting in hard.. :bad-words: So in the mean time i will just update this thread as i go along through my addict life of corrado ownership... :help: Finished off the wheels, all powder coated, outer professionally polished, bolts re polished and new nuts and washers.. This is the progress in the bodyshop, one side of arches done, bonnet, rear panel, slam panel all preped for paint....should be late Jan before its all done.
  7. Thats why i asked as i sprayed mine a year ago and they are back to original orange  this time im going to coat them with lacquer and see how it goes.
  8. I know what you mean bud, good luck with it all and do get a thread going as it will be a CF first!
  9. Did you spray the rear lights or buy them like that as they do look good 8)
  10. i would not worry about the geomotry on the rear, but if all your bushes are good and your brakes show no problem what's so ever i would suggest swapping the tyres over on the front first and go from there
  11. Have you ever driven a corrado? as it is well planted on the road and with a lsd its even better so drive one first before you decide on rwd. Awd is a better option but its still time consuming, you would need the 6 cyl only boxes r32/4 mo with transfer attached, then rear syncro axel from a VR6 syncro as the 4 cyl variants are narrower and are 4 stud. you can use the syncro diff if not going silly hp but if its silly power the syncro diff does not hold up well and you will need to fit the later haldex diff and fabricate itto the syncro axel with a kit from http://www.dutchbuild.com/index.php/cPath/17_50 and there is allot of usfull info on there, then the boot floor will need to be replaced with syncro or a custom made one etc....there is allot to do,also the haldex diff is electronicly operated and will need a standalone unit to power it or use the full loom from a r32 when using the r32 motor, its a full swap like coxylad had done to his car on here viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18916 There is also plenty of info on the net, here are a few links. http://www.dutchbuild.com/index.php http://www.dutchbuild.com/index.php http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1755494 http://www.vwsyncro.co.uk/data/forums/t ... IC_ID=2023 good luck with it all bud..
  12. Welcome to the CF mate,to convert a fwd into a rwd will involve a hell of allot more fabrication and custom parts than doing a 4wd car! why would you want to do it in the first place? wil you be doing the work? as for power are you going N/A of FI? for N/A a R32 motor will have the power you need out the box...
  13. oh and as for the corrado,my mate wants to buy the car complete as is,but has no money,im giving him a deadline and if he has no money bu then i will just finish the car....then get rid. :cuckoo:
  14. I dont have any pics of the front bumper but as junkie said Rilyes has a thread but mine is not that involved as his,its just a matter of cutting out the numberplate recess and the honey comb section at the rear, making all look nice and adding the mesh if you like between the front bumper section and rear...job done...oh then you got to cut out the bumper iron to allow air to pass. :) only one pic i found... and an old one of the bumper iron...
  15. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/M6-x-35-STAINLESS ... 2552cd2fb7 plenty on ebay.
  16. the problem probbaly is the pads, that set up is the G60,discs are G60 but are the calipers are VR6 ? im sure the offset of the G60 to VR6 discs are different, but unsure...you said would them in? fronts dont wind in but just push in,can you turn the brakes at all? Also note that the EBC pads have a thick "break in" layer and a good run up the road could sort out this problem..
  17. thats a lot of car ! and red :norty:
  18. get a multimeter mate, probe it around the screen and see what you find
  19. yea that how i repair them but then you got silver then gold lines.... :gag:
  20. It will be the lines across the screen, ive used the repair kits before and the do work but make the rear screen look a mess, best find a used tailgate glass.
  21. cant help about the gap but water flows off into the scuttle area and then into the holes at each corner so nothing goes into the bay.
  22. been a valver that will be deep down in the head,so you cant weld :(
  23. Ditto, the raddo is no were as heavy as the massive porsche! i run TT 312 discs with willwood 6pots up front and you can slow down so fast it gives you a headache!
