i was talking about joby fault mate.

the control unit is for windows only mate, you best bridging the switch accoss first and go from there?
-
it means there is nothing wrong with the wiring to the door, thats good, the door pin switchis is linked to the window controll unit that lives behing the osr quater trim. This probably means there is no ignition feed to the unit, you sure all the fuses are intact? or the unit itsself is faulty.

I have a combination of diagnostic tools at work from £50-4k scanners but on vag's, vagcom works the best for all the systems and early to new models.
-
just out of interest open your door work the window button and at the smae time push the door pin switch in and out, tell me what happens.
-

looks well Jim,any plans for this one? -
i would stick to a slim inter cooler if you are running a G60,the bigger the cooler the more pressure drop you will have. I know G60 Rallye intercoolers and about the size of the radiator but there limited air flow due to the corrado bumper, unless you cut out the number plate recess?
-
you will have no leaks,as these trims are just finishing trims, most you might get is whistling at speeds cos of the gap.
-
Probably mate, but i know auto windscreen places do a seal kit which will be a fraction of dealer costs, but be warned you will have to remove the outer seal which will probably be glued in place if the screen was replaced and the top trim is slotted on to the top of the glass as is the two side sections, its not a easy job and might end up having the screen removed to do it properly,it might be best to fill it with silicone?
-
there is four pieces all together, the one main outer trim, two sides and the top seal that you have, but like most rubber seals they shrink over time... :( leaving that gap.
-
I can relate to this mate, once you have no more enthusiasm for what you are doing its hard to justify spending any more time or money..... :(
-
nice...loving the valver, you doing the prep work Ben?
-
hence why we have EGR's on new engines also cats or particulate filters are as close to the head as posssible to warm up as quickly as possible to break down nox.....so it probably works to some small degree on older engines but euro 4-5 motors, nope.

cheers bud :salute:

just to update this,i fitted a new unit-thanks Leon ! and i thought it was still the same, around 0.80amps but after 10min! it powers down, unlike my old unit,it now reads 0.015amp-result!
