Prep'g for OBD2 - Removing the Servo, etc- advanced guidance
CorradoVR6-Turbo replied to Bruno's topic in Engine Bay
1) removing the servo is a pian, you have to remove the master cylinder then get under the dash remove the clip that holds the servo to the pedel and then the four M8 nuts then work the servo out while muttering "how the fuck does this come out!!" its getting it back in thats the pain, you need to make sure the new loom is well tucked away as the servo will foul it and you will never get it back in! 2) All you do to calibrate the throttle is switch the ignition on and wait for the throttle to cycle and you will hear it aswell as a light hum...thats it! also if it does all that you have wired everything in right! 3) dont know as i never fitted it as the C2 software removed this for me  Some usefull guides if you dont have them already mate. http://www.a2resource.com/electrical/CE2.html http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewto ... sc&start=0 http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... conversion http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3914622 you also might encounter a problem with your wipers not working,i found one of the plugs from the engine bay loom had to have two wires swapped over and also i had to bridge over a wire for the secondary cooling pump to work. Good luck. -
If your around durham mate give us a shout, are you driving the raddo?
