It should be light brown in colour, try to add a wire for the battery earth or chassis ground to it and see if it makes a difference first .
-
have a search for uprated headlight loom, but i added to my previous post that it still sounds like you have a poor earth on the passenger side.
-
so there is nothing wrong with it  sounds normal,in this case an uprated loom is probably best as they are poop. But it still sounds like your passenger side has a poor earth.
-
this wont help as you have an electrical fault and i suspect a poor earth, try to substitute an earth to the effected headlight and see what happens. You say both headlights are dim, have they always been like this or just happened?
-
Was just asking about uprated loom as they cause many problems, the ballast causes the headlights to come on dim when switched to sidelights but i have had them cause the lights to stay permanently dim, disconnecting it removes it from the circuit,im assuming you have checked the fuses etc?
-
the earths situated around the battery,at the rear, and check the connections are good that go to the back of the headlights and the plugs that fit on the bulbs also The ballast is on the inner wing next to the battery, about 4" long and 1 round with two yellow wires, disconnect this and see what happens. You dont have a uprated loom fitted do you?
-
have you checked the earth's,and have you removed the ballast resistor?

Yea the standard management is full of crap,N249 valve is rubbish, this controls the diverter valve.....that was binned, crappy N75 valves....yet more rubbish, but as for comparing it to MK4 based cars im undecided as there is no MK4 based 1.8t Quattro only 4 motions and R32's so not sure its comparable? But thats typical stock cars all censored so you cant have to much fun,but put the right parts on and its not the same car.

front tow eye and on the rear of subframe or jacking point holes in floor up front.

toyota rav4...cheap and amazing in the snow plus the reliability of toyota 8) Stay away from heavy 4x4's they are crap in snow mud ect...something with a Monocoque constriction would be best.

you take the vacuum off the pipe under the manifold...?
-
In standard form they are dull, like my mates car and you can say the same about a corrado, once you have sorted the suspension and roll bars for good upgrades it transforms the car and is very nimble around the twistys and it will leave the corrado for dead...as for boring power delevery...er well... yes it is, but cos of the small turbo delivering all the torque low down...but yet again very tunable to get more out of them. Oh and all wheel drive in the UK climate is amazing.....yes thats grip on wet roads all year round

first time ive seen your car at vwf and i must say its stunning, fair play to you for making it look as good as it is 8)

Willwood brakes + new wheel spacer question
CorradoVR6-Turbo replied to DANG60's topic in Drivetrain
No matter how good the caliper is limiting it to a small diameter discs wont help, but if you need to keep it that size use good quality parts to help it along, standard 280mm brakes fade fast ! but in a 20vt.... can you not squeeze in a 288 disc? -

Willwood brakes + new wheel spacer question
CorradoVR6-Turbo replied to DANG60's topic in Drivetrain
My old VRT (now Coullstars) ran willwood 6 pots due to the same problem as you are having, they dont have dust seals, but if you maintain then and dont let the pad get so low as to expose the pistons to the elements for to much of the year they will be fine, but if left unattended and unclean from salt etc they will seize up. They are light and narrow and work well, defo worth it if you need the space. -
