Right been into a couple of dealers and "we dont do em anymore" was the cheerfull response i got. Upon further investigation, it turns out that the VW logo and name of dealership is now done when the plates are pressed so if anyone knows of anywhere else or even better has some they don't want, muchos gracias to you!

Mine raises at 47mph as stated by Yan but comes back down at about 12mph. It's a 93 VR As a slight aside is there away to configure it to work with an alarm? always wondered when i'm washing it and forget to raise it myself. (Or am I just being lazy?)

Thats what its all about at the end of the day... keeping it honest. The only reason i'm handing over the dough partially blind is cos it someone on this forum.
