Pretty sure you can find 288mm brakes from a late golf for peanuts. Add goodridge hoses and you are laughing! Should have change from £150 for that little lot and the increase in pad size is where you'll benefit...

Hardly anyone... and for good reason!! 8.5J will be so much better. Jay

Looks like the Golf W12 concept... can't be bad can it?
-
Am I the only one that doesn't like this... too smooth for me but then if we all liked the same thing, the world would be a boring place!

Front edge of the rear seats... fixed in by four bolts i think from memory.

I don't even wash myself 4 or 5 times a week!

I'm pretty sure the hump is only a feature of G60s or VR6s. Probably been swapped into loads of the valvers as it's a nice feature I think.

Yup... at the top on its own. in the middle of the relays and is horizontal as opposed to the other fuses which are vertical.
-
There is a 'hidden' fuse above the bank of main fuses and relays. Can feel for it by hand but probably easier to get your head in there. IIRC is a 25amp fuse - it also controls central locking.

There isn't... 335i maybe? -
got mine from Euro Car Parts... was £12 and a Continental belt. hope that helps

Hello John, I had the same problem. MPG was well down before I had my remap a Stealth. It did get better after Vince had a play but still isn't great. He did have to replace a dodgy HT lead which was causing a misfire and I do have a VSR + 6 branch manifold but I guess this is always gonna be a downside of squeezing more power out of the lump.

Pete Griff's 'Rado R32 - (Not quite!) Alive at last! :D

Doubt you'll find anyone willing to swap! Late ones look like this and are available from vagparts or vagspares... or something! 12062007152 (Medium).jpg[/attachment:3w17uh29] -
As above! Had the same problem... could just be the belt (£12 for a Continental)... which I found out after changing the tensioner (at £70) and the water pump (at £30)! Doesn't sound like chains in the slightest.

Think thats an early VW gauge panel... mine came with one til i changed it for the all in one late panel. -
You could put it in my car... I don't mind :D !

204 bhp & velvety smoothness can't be too bad though! I guess you're missing the VR rumble but the wiring will be worth it when its sorted! How come your 2.9 didn't go towards saving Zed?
-
Lucky him! R32?

The 2005 Capri looks like the new Scirocco should have, in terms of shape at least. The biggest disappointment with the Scirocco is that it aint a coupe! Its always the case though that car makers show you what they "could make" then they go and tone it down... so much that it looks like a Golf!

This looks better everytime I see it! Mine is doing alright thanks mate. On the plus side I've got a Stealth remap on Wed that i've been putting off for far too long BUT had a little scrape on the drivers door... trying to convince myself that it's an excuse for a respray and a few other body mods!! You got anything else in the pipeline?

Hello Bill. Comfy?
