Ah... never noticed that. BUT they arent 9.75J, think its a misprint. They'll either be 6.5J if from a mk4 or 7J if from a mk3 Anniversary. Clearly from the pics they don't look massively wide and if they were there'd be much more of a stretch with those tyres on...
-
If its a VR6 then yes... tyres aren't ideal however. You'd want tyres with a lower profile 45 or 40. Nice wheels though :D EDIT: Just realised the title says VR6 :cuckoo:

Don't think so.. I have my gauges wired in and still have that plug spare...
-
Small white plug? Found the same when working on mine at the weekend... Anyone know what it's for? I'm thinkin aircon related...
-
Like it :D Think the wheels suit it... got any side on pics?
-
Well amazingly I had... but only if "guaranteed asset protection" covers the foglights, the door handles, the parcel shelf straps, the headlight switch, the spoiler mech, the sunroof, the chains and anything else that could go wrong on a VR6.... oh and the heater controls. That is all Mr. Riot :D
-
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you'll jinx it! If you throw in a set of mats it's a deal.
-
Can I trade in? Got a brand new Mk6 Golf... If I get that guaranteed £2k its on!!!
-
Hello mate I'd speak to John Mitchell at JMR. He's an official supplier of Milltek bits and sorted mine out when the car was there recently. Won't be very expensive either
-
Well when funds (or self build skills) arise then a VRT sounds like heaven... I'd like to retain the original look of the bay though. Seen a Red Mk3 VRT on youtube where, other than a few metal boost pipes, you'd think it was standard 8)

As if :cuckoo:  Does that mean I can count you out then Kev? :D It's proper eBay rare! Must be annoying to find the perfect set of wheels for the job to be so limited by colour choices :( . White looks good in your sig but would be too much of a contrast on this car I so I guess it makes the best of a bad situation.

Most people seem to love the wheel colour so I'm still trying to work out why I don't !? Think if they were darker Anthracite maybe or even golder a la Imprezas I might like it, either way they're needed for the Brembos. I think I know what you mean about the interior. Chav isn't quite the right word, they were just a bit "look at me" although they served a purpose. Oh and Turbo? one day...
-
This thread is giving me bad thoughts! Anyone wanna swap a VSR for a turbo? I think you're hitting the nail on the head with restoring the badges to silver and the interior to standard. The speaker pods were just too busy I think. And as much as I love the style of the wheels am I the only one that thinks the colour doesn't quite go? Probably :D

Got a G-Werks one which is very well made...
-
Another vote for the MIMs. Had a set on my G60 and kinda regret selling em. Lovely wheels
-
Mail em saying you want to buy 20 of their most expensive item, when they reply just say you changed your mind and just need a price on a horn push!
-
CAT on or off?? :D
-
Not bad... chunky 5 spokes always work well on the Corrado. Are the 7J? what size tyres you got on there?
-
Fingers crossed for you pal! Everybody loves an eBay bargain!
-
They look like A3 wheels so yep will go straight on. Stud pattern and centre bore will be the same. Tyres might not be ideal though. On 16s you want 205/45/16 or 215/40/16... I think :D
-
Definitely not Borbet C... look similar though, I think they are ATS. Dinkus had some I think
-
I was referring to OE wheels as he said he was looking at Mk4/TT alloys....
-
Lots of VW wheels that use the Mk 4 platform will. So you're looking at Golfs, Mk 1 TT, older A3 and various Seats... Important numbers are 5x100 and if you have standard brakes/suspension clearance wont be a problem... oh these will fit http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=82308

I'd leave it... looks really good. Original but personalised if that makes sense. Plus as long as you know it's genuine it shouldn't really matter. Corrado Storm sounds good in the same way Golf Highline does...
-
The highline ones do... look miles better as well I think.
