  1. Cheers for the fast reply. I did look at the metal work and thought it would be good to use. I'll make a start on cutting it down. The plastic in the Ashtray area is a bugger to work with. Yours looks well nice very factory. I presume by your name you have Nitrous in yer C? So do I just not yet wired up. It was so badly wired that I ripped it all out when I got the car. All the wires were twisted together and wrapped in masking tape  Where did you get yours wired up or did ya do it yourself? That is if you have it. Mine has a 10Lb bottle wet system with purge and a fogger nozzle fitted with 100 shot jets.
  2. This thread is up again. I have an Audi 80 set of gauges plus panel n loom. When fitting the gauges to the ashtray area did you guys use the rear of the panel ie. The metal chasis that the gauges sit in. If not how did ya attach the plastic front panel to the C's front? I have got the plastic fasia to fit the C perfectly so just waiting on a reply. Cheers all.
  3. Yep I have a B&B fitted. Got it from g Werks. very nice bit of kit. You can tell if ya have an RSR kit on yr motor by looking at the charger outlet. If you have a large ugly black plastic box fitted. Then you have the standard silencer, if looks like the pictures on G Weks site ya have an RSR. :D
  4. Cheers Steveo. After having the car for 18 months now I managed to find the previous owners mobile No yesterday still on my old phone sitting in a cupboard. He still has a gallon of paint for the car. Its now mine for free. :D Which is very nice of him so me happy now.
  5. Hi all. Whilst I have a bust alloy I have been taking care of a couple of rust spots. My mate clanged my drivers door against a wall some months back. I have decided to stop the rust bubbling under the paint this week. The car is listed as being painted in Indigo blue. Its not?? Its had a respray by previous owner. I had some paint mixed it matches whats in the boot but not on the exterior. I have been told that some paint mixers use a sought of scanner to exactly match your paint? Anybody know of such a company in Cheshire of Manchester? Cheers
  6. I have changed my rad thermo switch 3 times and still no fan comes on. After a search and advice from fellow 60 owners I was told there are relays behind the glove box if not ABS. Took my glove box out and no relays :?: In the end I wired my fan to a dash switch and all is well. I just click it on 1st sped at half way if in traffic and fast when hot and stationary works a treat. I still don't know why it wont work by its self... Need a Bentley really to find out what the relays are for under the drivers side fuse panel.
  7. OH  I fitted a new Weitec socker n spring kit to my 60 not long back... I did not cut my rear stops. To be honest I never thought of it. How does this 'Cutting the Stops' relate to this post in Drivetrain. Linky linky So if the car at the rear rides on the stops you cut em and the car drops a little. So which is best cutting the stops or moving the spring plate a notch down as mentioned in the linked post?? My car rides a little high at the rear as mentioned in the linked post
  8. as said by PhatVR6 See here You don't have to remove the heaterbox or matrix. If cog is broke slide it out and replace with one from breakers. Read the posts lots of info.
  9. Hi, See here I used this how to and mine works perfectley now..Not that it does anygood in this weather...Oh the days of Saab aircon
  10. Hi Spykeeeeeeeee. So how did you remove the circlips? Was it a tough job. The rears are easily removed in 10 mins so i may have a play tomorrow evening. Bob
  11. As it sez on the tin... I have a Mitsubishi IC that I am about to front mount. The inlet tubes are about 2" in relation to the C's boost system will this difference cause any real probs. I am looking at a front mount system being miles better than the standard IC anyway. So maybe any system will be better than standard. I was thinking of Tig welding new inlets to the IC body :?:
  12. The man of G Oh yes be happy don't worry. :D Spykee yeah what I meant was although I guess it would have to be a massive drop to see easily.. Was... Does the sill of the car sit at an angle towards the rear of the car. Ie with dropping one circlip on the shocker tube The whole car will drop a little at the rear. As you said though the rear still sits a little higher so I guess you can't pick it up.
  13. Darren said Darren if you remember my order it took 5 weeks of lost parcels (via Royal Mail) and a lost BB outlet kit. My shox came direct from Germany with little documentation. Weitec sent you the wrong kit for me at first a 70/70 kit I think. I wanted the 35/35 or so. However saying that I have nothing but praise for the service from yourself. My rebuilt charger pulls like a train and the help you gave me on my car was invaluable. So I'm not bad mouthing you nor anyone. I just commented on a post. I love the Weitec kit the ride is wicked. Well comfy and not like say an Eibach setup I have had on other cars. Spykee Does the change you have made to the rears mean the car no longer sits level wih the Rd. If you understand what I mean. The Corrado's arch's are not level so the car would now have a slight tilt to the rear?? If that makes sense :?:  Bob
  14. Interesting thread this Spykee I also have a G-Werks Weitec kit. Only fitted a month or two back. My back end is sitting high just as yours infact identicle. To be honest I was a bit ??? about it but left it alone. My front is awesome although at speed round the country lanes my front chin can scrape the ground  The rears have the circlip ect. I was wondering about moving it However as Crasher said I got no instructions with my kit. Infact it was a good job I've fitted kits before I think a novice could get a bit miffed when the rears are all in their bits n pieces. Crasher you ask for measurements on the rears. Is it possible to have the wrong shox in the kit?? Keep us informed abiut what you decide to do.

I have Noz on mine. 10lb bottle the lot. It was so badly wired when I got the car I had to strip all the cable. Connections were just twisted together and wrapped in masking tape. No relays or anything. It was a real mess. Its a coldfusion kit with purge sol. I have a progressive controller for it that I bought since, Just not confident on wiring it all up. It has 100 jets in the lines at the mo. I have a bag of spare jets also. Would be nice to have a play with it oneday.

Hi, See here its a good site. Corrado club Canada
  17. Morning Supercharged. Yep I'm sure. I have no relays in the bay. I don't have ABS either. So I don't know. Anybody got any piccies of their relays in the bay or behind the glovebox. I had to fit the switch, no other way of getting the fan to work. Does anybody have a Bentley illustration of the relays or even the ones in the drivers footwell.
  18. My 60 has no relays for the fan and no it does not work... Well P********D about it. Had to wire my fan to a dsh switch. Works well but would be nicer if it worked by its self. Looked all over the place none behind the glovebox or in the bay.
  19. Mine was 3m yes thats 3 meters long  Car still ran ok was abit advanced though.
  20. See Here for a how to.. Corrado club Canada.

  23. Hi all. My mate who drives Saabs and rebuilds transmissions for a living has a question. Answers on a postcard please. So there ya go
  24. What sought of leak.... Coolent leak? Well I had a leak and for the life of me I could not find it. Water always vanishing from res. Found it in the end. Headgasket had gone. The water was washing out No1 cylinder and then going down the exhaust. Then it just evaporated. All I heard now and again after a hard run was when getting out of car there was a sound like a kettle boiling coming from under car. Water boiling  A few days later my headgasket went and cost me £353 for a head skim and refit.
  25. It could have been worse. Come out of a bar on a 1st date. hahahahahahahha Thats some POOO son
