'In your opinion maybe. You're right in that Corrado's look pants standard imho, the stock suspension is way too high, and the little 15" wheels look totally lost in the massive arches. ' David H............steady you have just sold me some 15" wheels for my Corrado today........ LOL
-
may have been a car going the other way..........
-
tell me if im wrong but Im assuming people that show their corrados on the continent set the tent up the night before then spend time lowering the coilovers for the following day's show whilst sipping on a cpl of cold beers? Cant imagine they actually drive round at that height, I think they look great 4 shows.......driving at that height would be another matter though. I think its all a matter of personal taste and trade off's....for instance Henny has traded looks for performance by going for the RS bumper which in turn allows fitment of an upgraded performance intercooler....
-
Think Ive seen somewhere (TSR site maybe?) that 260 or 270 degree suits the best normally......suppose it depends on what other mods have been carried out?
-
think im right in saying the boost pipes wont be used with the full width Golf Intercooler...........think this is my 'members area gallery' thread..........just updating with current wip. Should get some pics up in the next few weeks! Cant wait !
-
dont think you can go wrong with the VW stuff when it comes to brakes........
-
...............Darren, like the way you have disguised the nitrous as a regular can................. Cant really say oh it looks really nice..........too many parts missing! Like the black rocker cover though! Cheers 4 posting. Dont forget need to sort Susp and wheels/tyres today!
-
im with the 'very nice' vote..........
-
could not believe my luck, need 205's for the Corrado but they could only do them 4 65 a corner, bit cheaper buying from Mytyres and getting some one to fit and balance for cash £50 should take care of that
-
just bought 4 195*50's T1's fitted and balanced incl the vat 4 £150 down @ RSR redhill !
-
Decided to go the whole hog on the Corrado, works in progress over the next few weeks:- Head rebuild Removal of CC Boost Return removal Full width Golf Intercooler with orig. outlet - using samco's for the other runs FK Coilovers or Koni + Eibach New top mounts Mocal Oil Cooler Charger rebuild (sticking with 68mm) Schmidt Revolution 15" + New Toyos all round. Think thats it :D I'll get some pics up when complete! Is there a forum camping at either of the Sept VW events ?
-
Jetex is well put together and not too noisy! Not much choice of rear outlet's though......think they only come in single round...
-
so 15's r the way to go then if you dont want too much hassle, cheers for the reply
-
corradokid - are they 15" or the 16" - I thought the 15" would go on without arch mods? Planning a 20-30mm drop......
-
I think 15s of the right offset(so they fill the arch) make lots of sense, look good, handle well and the tyres are very cheap!
-
bout time you got that up Darren, think they look good and I think I'll be getting a set...............just gotta get the thing lowered now lol Thanks for posting Henny - revolution modern line sold by schmidt and made/sold by revolution.
-
Ian, ....think you should spend the next two weeks changing it back.......lol  Only kidding mate, think is looks good, do agree with a couple of comments above that there s/be a line though....... Think the bumper looks great, tow eye poking out looks fine, would not smooth that part imo :-P

put a honest price on it yourself, send lots of photos into your Insurance company with the 'agreed valuation' form and see if they agree. Id guess 4k maybe 4.5k ? depends on so many other things - mileage, condition etc.you can normally request the right to salvage as well so in the event of an accident you could sell the interior etc
-
part number for the platinum ones at least......863VAG1419NV
-
£57 inc the vat they were..........
-
not had the pleasure Phat, just love the way wifes valver revs all the way to the limit.........

I ordered another set of platinum mats yesterday via VW - as a spare set. When I ordered my last set about a year ago they said we dont have stock for a 1991 Corrado - too old, I replied well what about a 1995 Corrado and they said oh yeah..... I'll post the part number tonight
