dont think u can improve much on the F1's.......... -
be aware that a full vw history does not mean the car will be upto scratch - like munkay says............
-
cough.....Alpine not Sony.....
-
Can only talk about the focals....I find them excellent - the 200 quid ones that fit straight in the door, I have them running from a nothing special Sony V12 amp in the boot with upgraded wire........the high's are very nice....never 'harsh' which you will often find with cheaper components......got a feeling the tweeters r metal dome type, may be worng though
-
nice looking dubs there.....with the exception of the Mk2 spoiler.... Thats the type of exhaust Im after, just a stainless steel smallish tube sticking out the back to make the car look more oe kinda thing.....
-
I'll have to give them a ring then....was going to get the smaller front splitter so I could lower the car a little more, need to make sure the sump never comes into contact with those dodgy square road humps though....
-
£44 incl postage from GPC......I was going to order a 50mm front splitter as well but did not when I found out they were £60... compared to £30 for the larger one
-
more grey than black, certainly not the same colour as the car....

Cars booked in the Paintshop friday and monday at long last.....anyway getting a small dent on the door sorted (beam behind so paintless dent removal did not work) and a number plate surround colour coded - new one ordered from GPC today as I understandf they always break when taken off ! I was also thinking about getting the side bump strips painted black to match the car and therofore getting rid of any grey plastics all round.....anyone got pictures of the colour coded side bump strips on a Corrado? Lots of people just take them off but I kinda like the look of them..... Cheers :)

.........that garage looks very clean and tidy.........cant be G-Werks and Pit Stop surely.....

top tip cheers Henny, dont think they used to supply in silver when i last looked? Cheers
-
Id like to chrome the rear small std G60 badge to match the rear VW rondell but id like to leave the edges black as in the std red G60 badge.....anyone got any ideas who could do this...........dont think spraying would come out as a match for the silver on the rondell?

I was thinking of putting the orig. BBS back on 4 shows but I tried them on and thought they did not look a patch on the modernline's I have on there at the moment. Thinking of going down the 17" RC route so it raises the car a little and fills the gap between tyre and arch without having to lower on the c/overs more (to avoid exhaust contact with rear beam), it will also stop the spoiler catching road bumps! may just buy 5 RC's to avoid any supply issues in the future......

looking around for a price on a 17" wheel and tyre package, saw some for approx £1050 with uniroyals so thought Id phone my local RSR for a price and after a cpl of hours they phoned me back saying there discountinued but they have a few sets at other branches......... Anyone else heard this as it kinda puts me off buying them if there gonna become difficult to source replacements in a year or two? Looking around for a change to the car for summer season!

agree with Kev.......not very nice on the eye!

would have thought its pretty expensive unless you know how to do the work yourself, then u have the hassle of finding a decent s/hand manual box as well............. Id sell it if your not happy with the auto box.....
-
Think the standard offset on BBS C alloys is about 33-35 and Id like to stick them out in the arches to about 25..........r the cheap Euro or GSF spacer's ok qaulity wise as they seem pretty good value. 10mm s/be ok with standard bolts I guess.......any info would be very appreciated Cheers

Jim i dont understand that low torque figure in comparison to the high BHP figure, mine returned the opposite with 192brake and 210odd torque, I always thought force induced motors had higher torque? just curious really....anyone got ideas?
