he's obviously spent a shed load of cash making it look that crap........ :|............IMO only. It would half scare the crap out of you coming up behind on a motorway......think you would move over pretty quickly

problem with de-badging altogether is the Corrado badger at the back leaves 4 holes when taken off. Got the K badge, had a quick look but the badge will need spacing out a little to hide all the holes, ot sure what it will look like but I'll give it a go as i can always change it back. Wanted a chrome badge on the back to match the chrome rondell on the front and back and also a coupe badge on the front grill.... Stevemac....a) chrome matches my rondell b plan is to take the C badge off so no font to match up with c i understood Kompressor meant Supercharger?? Hope im not wrong or I'll look a complete plank lol ....appreciate u want to keep yours standard but I have seen a dark C with the badge on and it looked good.......just not sure if he had the rear panel smoothed and painted first....
-
Cheers Furki.............got it in my watch list which is why i posted the thread ! G-Man if i understand that right then leave the K&N in place and open up a cold air duct via the cc hole which will give the engine more than enough air........
-
Furki - I'll get it loaded up tonight mate. Last Gti International there was a heavily modded nice C in a dark colour that was in the convoy, it had the K badge on.....remember at the time it looked really cool ! BillinjahG60 - thats why I want to get it, transfer my private plate on with a K badge on the back and few will know how old the car is and what it is for that matter.....
-
Henny - your a Star, cheers mate.
-
ah, I dont like the sound with the snorkel removed, not because its noisy just the reverbarating noise it makes..........had plenty of Vauxhalls in the past with a induction kit and they sounded great.............does drilling the box give that orrible reverbing noise....
-
thats interesting......and free of charge to do

Got a G60 with one of Darren's intercoolers  , redtops, 68mm, exhaust etc that produced 190bhp and 210lb's on the rollers last week which Im well happy with but what sort of gain could there be by junking the k&n panel and box and replacing with an induction kit with cold air feed ? Anyone have any comparisons with a K&N panel and box with a cold air feed and an induction kit ? Do u think there would be much diff. I reckon in this cold weather there could be a marked gain....may be 5 or more bhp and some more torque? Would appreciate some opinions Cheers :D
-
Cougar - thats a good idea.......so its on the driveshaft, do I look for something rattle round loose in the centre on the driveshaft? What does it look like or can I not miss it ? Cheers
-
Furki......you know that! Ive seen the silver K badge on a dark coloured car in place of the Corrado badge.......anyone have any pics? Thanks for posting JimsG60.......that green C reminds me of my first car......Morris Marina 1.8 coupe.......
-
Seen it somewhere, thinking of the mod myself
-
Is it right most people angle grind this off or stick it back as it should be ? Where abouts is it located underneath? It was diagnosed by G-Werks but I have not got round to fixing yet.....any advice welcome. Thanks
-
just had the car rolling roaded......191bhp with 150bhp @ the wheels......Torque a whopping 210lb's Thanks G-Werks
-
modded starlet turbo I reckon....agree with Pablo
-
get a modded G60 or allow for a G-Werks visit in your budget.................mine spins the wheels @ 60 in third since its been back from G-Werks !
-
if your fronts are already good then I would suggest a graphic/sub controller upfront to give superior adjustablility......bought mine for peanuts - Kenwood 7 band with sub frequency and level control......Look on e-Bay There is a common misconception that graphics should not be added as they increase noise, Home H-fi thats true but in cars the benefits of being able to tailor the sound out weight the extra noise.........
-
....remember seeing that picture when u first posted it........looked good then as well. Did the wiper removal last weekend after seeing your thread
-
just slap some components in powered by an amp and add a bass tube in the boot, dont worry about the rears then........suspect they will only distort anyway due to the 4" diameter trying to handle low frequencies
-
as long as it gets up there then there r no worries................only gonna sit on the grass 4 a cpl of days and not be moved
-
To Debadge or not debadge - THAT is the question

Kinda agree with Crazymarcel in that its nice to have a couple of diff options so u can change about a bit. Been thinking of updating to a later grill 4 a while but i got mine colour coded a while back so it would be wasting money, changed the black Rondell to a Chrome to match a renault megane badge i picked up.
