-
above was a pic. of my newly colour coded rear number plate surround, came out really well. 'Built in Germany - Refined in England' been looking for this sticker for ages, a lot of the shows dont have them in Chrome which I needed to match the top sticker........ .......courtesy of VolksWorld show yesterday at Sandown Park - wicked show with some fantastic Campers and Beetles!
-
Think it looks ace....... 8)

I think most sets if designed for a C will make A road driving lots of fun........but they are not going to make you enjoy riding round town more!

bodywork was pretty naf...just about parking dents and stone chips on every panel, paint work/finish in general was not good. Engine looked like it had not been touched in a very long time.........RM's were all corroded, arches etc were an awful colour - no idea of how to try and prep a naff car for sale.....list goes on! -
Some people have a real laugh with descriptions on the trader, this car was awful for the money............ :? £4295 with recaro leather, air con etc Link shortened. VR6

I found the 323 (in the m plate saloon shape) r pretty even with a Std Mk2 16v off the line through the gears upto 80 odd, suspect they would pull away after that though so a C g60 should beat it once rolling....... IIRC the Coupe's are a tad quicker..... I used to drive a new shape 325 ci coupe with the sport extras on odd occasions for work and they dont seem as quick as the 7 odd secounds to 60 that they r because they r soo smooth......
-
15 yrs plus....thats also what HIC said, most insurers will 'mirror' NCB on your other policies so the lack of NCB on your 2nd car does not really matter.....
-
the 323's r not that quick to 60, think your mag may be wrong.....
-
......thought there was a reason i had the std fpr........spot on Supercharged!
-
think they look nice as is.....
-
per Autocar and Motor Car 16-10-91.... 16v £17,881 1.8 litre (cant imagine price changed much G60 £18,851 Suspect On the Road price was a little higher than listed....
-
nice job of those andy....
-
...did not think you needed more than the stnd fpr when running the standard fuel pump...may be wrong though....Save your money
-
Handling's good, ride's pretty good as well....no real bangs or ought and still relatively rattle free.... Surprised when I lowered the rears @ the w/end how easy it was to adjust still......need to clean the thread up though and chuck loadsa vaseline on them i think

there's some pretty incredible conversions being done to C's in people's garages @ homes at the moment - this one, Phats syncro etc.....much respect to the people that take on these jobs and I cant wait to see them at the shows when they emerge! Put us people buying coilovers and wheels to shame ! -
cars looking wicked....... I kinda like the black tops.....have a look in my album as there is a shot of a black C with reds and black rear lights
-
Getting a custom made Long Life rear box to reduce knocking on the rear beam next w/end.....my jetex sticks out too far and is a little too big! Has anyone got pics of a C with a 2.5" or 3.0" outwardly rolled stainless pipe? I like the idea iof the small 2.5" more OE style rear pipe but think it may look a little lost in the stnd rear bumper cut out? Any ideas? Really appreciate some pics of these pipes pls.............. Pipe is £179 with custom fabrication and choice of noise level.....thought that was ok?
-
wicked C.......get rid of that rear wiper for the shows! ....bad as Darren for collecting wheels!
-
two fingers width between the top of the tyres and the arches, cos its on 15's it looks a lot lower. 90mm spoiler catches on bumps and the drive way so I cant really lower much more - even if I get a 50mm spoiler and lower further I suspect the sump may catch so not happy to do that! Furki - I understand your going for 17's so you should be able to drop the arches right onto the tyres with the coilovers u r fitting - may be easier to get 195's stretched on so the tyres dont rub? Not sure though! Air Ride - na, cars for driving not pissing about raising and lowering at shows! Far too american imo Riley - cheers mate, rims need re-finishing all ready, kerbed and some of the lacquer is peeling ! My next job
-
cheers furki, looking forward to seeing yours after what Darren has said you have planned !
