I'm supprised people aren't keen, I thought this is the style that most people on this forum liked... :? Either way I like it... its certainly how I'd want mine to be, very subtle - but I'd have different wheels and rear lights 8)
-
this was a while ago... lets see what I've actually got done  Get supercharger rebuilt Fit audi door handles Stop exhaust blowing Fit new windscreen seal Fit new drivers door seal Fix sunroof Fix drivers door lock Fit oil cooler Change oil Fit New Alarm Build Sub Box - (need sub first) New Stuff: Sort rust Build a new sub box New Brakes Muster up £10,000 to pay for everything I want to do... Things in red I've actually done... got through some of the list, but still a bit to do.

if the rest of the country gets what we have here (and not a gritter to be seen!) then I can see the corrado population taking a hit :( - Especially if you lot are as immature as me and can't resist the temptation of the handbrake
-
definately not putting mine on till the weathers better in that case! Dunno whether anyone else got the amount of snow we have in the north east.. but driving is a lot more ...sideways... than usual

I don't think it looks THAT bad as a car... but as a Corrado, its just wrong.

G60: What boost with the different pulley sizes?
Shilakadaddy replied to TajMan's topic in Engine Bay
Isn't the fuel pressure 3 bar as standard? -
True enough, but I think quite a lot of people have got figures from Stealth's RR... and others like Jim who have had consistant results from different sources... so they must mean something. I like that idea... food for thought for my next installment of engine mods :) How long till your car's up and running? ...I think the spec of your engine is similar to the spec I'm aiming for, for mine 8)
-
so as long as the engine is set up properly and not pinking, this thing will sit there quite happily without venting boost? :)
-
porsche stuff :? I think I'm missing something pretty obvious here.. but why do people want to put a load of porsche bits on their corrados? Overly wide wheels - same as putting 20" wheels on a corsa... they don't fit, so stop trying! I'm sure theres more, but thats all I can think of at the moment :)
-
TELL ME MORE! 8) Tell us all more!! How big was the pulley?! @ Steve - what you hoping for after it all gets rebuilt?
-
Yeah I know! I'm itching to get them on, but gonna wait till I've got everything else sorted first, then get all the geometry set up etc. :D I'll get it sorted asap :)
-
got 205/45's on mine (16" x 7") lowered around 40mm and have never rubbed so should be fine
-
I was thinking that too :? although there are some very odd readings froms G60's - like exturbo2003 with 225bhp & 208ftlb's with very few mods while BigEastsideVWG60 has done a great deal more to his engine iirc (can't find the spec atm) yet made 1 bhp less at the wheels... I was hoping this thread could identify some common patterns of sucessful mods on a G60 (beyond the obvious chip and pulley)... my aim is to have 200bhp @ the wheels with the 1.8 block and G-lader charger... I guess the work involved to achieve this differs significantly from car to car.
-
Everyone who has a G60 that's been on the rollers, post your figures, and what you've done to the engine to achieve it :) Go on, pretend you're on the vortex forum for a bit
-
Excellent video :) lmao @ the music - I like how you turned it down for the serious moment after you spun  Looked like fun 8)
-
yeah I'm still a tad confused too... Does it only come into play when the engine starts pinking, or is it active all the time?
-
agree with the Leon suggestions (I want to get the euro 4wd version :D ) why did u want to sell your corrado? Now that you can't have the exige just get another one, but this time get a G60 or VR6 :-P
-
also here http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3224 when I first did it 8)
-
That was Bounemouth James' 16v which I photoshopped a while back... thats how I wanted my Corrado to look before I'd actually got one... shame its not real :( click the link in my sig to find another pic of it :)

Update: Bought a couple of new parts for the C, and taken a couple of pictures today, so I thought I'd update this thread... now with all the new pictures (and progress) on the first page :) Bought Jay's (G60Renshaws) BBS RC's (that was a long drive) and also some Konigsport Coilovers... I've also fitted a cold air feed since the last update. Hopefully soon I shall be getting a couple of engine things (stuff in my sig) and then I'll get it on the RR at Stealth :D... spending lots of money atm  I'll fit the RC's when the weathers better, and after getting the car on the rollers, then there shall be many more pics :) Chris
-
depends on funds, I'd quite like to keep them as spares for winter etc. However since buying Jay's RC's I have sod all money  I'll PM you first if I do decide to sell.
-
definately remove them.. I think it looks better without no matter what colour :)

Corrado Spotting Archive February 2005
Shilakadaddy replied to Roger Blassberg's topic in General Car Chat
Corrado beeped at me when in a Safeway Mega Store car park in Reading on friday night... didn't actually realise it was a corrado until I'd driven past so didn't get any details (can't even remember the colour  ) -
ah looking good mate, I reakon the 16" versions of those Image wheels deffo look best 8)
-
with better wheels, lower, different grille (to match), removed side stips and black mesh in the rear bumper, it would be a whole lot better imo... and thats what counts, so tell him to do the above
