yeah you'll probably get more if you could put it back to some form of standard state and sell it as a G60... otherwise I'd say £6,500 maybe £7k is a good price to advertise at - although may take a while to sell
-
If it was the PAS belt then it might squeel when you go to full lock - mine did when it was a little loose... the belt itself is behind the serpentine belt (I think?) at the bottom of the engine - you can access it from the drivers wheel arch.

Finally - I'm going for Replica Posche Rims- THEY'VE ARRIVED

Another vote for the Cup 2's... the whole porsche thing, although does look good, has been done too much.. plus the fact that they're not the real thing leads me to say that a similar style, but not looking like its trying too hard to be the same, is the best option 8) -
nah nothing that special, just swapping my early interior with Dubster82's late interior... I'll make it look nice by sorting the lighting out, and installing my DDI dials etc. but I don't really have enough money to do anything up to the same standard as G60Renshaw or A20Lee  Looking forward to getting it finished none the less... its rather loud driving around at the moment - especially with the boost return removed!
-
its ...uhhh... work in progress...
-
Giving me expensive ideas! :? Looks very impressive.. not seen many corrados with decent boot installs actually, so its nice to see that you've taken the time to get all aspects up to show standard 8) I just need to find the time and money to get on with mine  Keep the pictures coming

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...

Not today... but over the past week: * Fitted New Wheels * Lowered coilovers, measured, lowered some more, measured, took a picture, raised the back a bit, measured, lowered the front a bit more, took another picture... still want to lower more at the front but won't be able to go to uni. * Fitted Red Top Injectors * Fitted SNS Stage 5 Chip * Washed and Leathered Car * Took many more pictures Next will be interior gutting and then rebuilding... with even more pictures :D -
I think the Dezent X's are much nicer

does chrisvr6nos still come on this forum? Nice purchace 8) I'd love to own a VR as well as the G60... look forward to the pics :) -
Thanks guys all very kind comments 8) Fitted my Red Top Injectors and SNS Chip today... hasn't made a huge difference, although I do think it pulls better and smoother throughout the whole rev range, so I'm pretty pleased :) I think the only thing I'm gonna be doing to the engine for a while is get an RS outlet... I've been spending wayyyy too much money on my car recently and think I need to give my credit card a break
-
I've had a little race with a 328 and there didn't seem to be anything in it (although if anything he was a tiny bit faster) either way, a 323 shouldn't give a tuned G60 much hassle.. (whats the spec of your car?)
-
I think the indicators should be done the same :) Edit: Also loving that smoked effect on Nana Man's pic... do that too 8)
-
Thanks Jim! :) I do enjoy the red... however I think wheels suit the aqua blue better (Bally's car basically).. but its certainly a huge improvement on my old wheels, which were definitely looking a little worse for ware.
-
Update: Finally fitted the BBS RC's and lowered the ride height a bit more... I now have many unhealthy noises that I need to investigate  but it looks cool, which is the main thing! 8) Should be fitting my Red Top Injectors and SNS Chip tomorrow.. but not a lot to see there... and then I'll get it over to Stealth for a tune-up / health check :) Should be sorting a couple of interior things in the near future too... such as fitting a late spec dash (if all goes to plan) some nice gauges and my DDI dials... so lots to do! :) More pictures on page 1

there's a thread on vortex I'm following at the moment that might be of interest to you: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1867952 will be interesting to see how it turns out... 8)
-
Attempted photoshop  Gotta say I don't really see the appeal... I think I'd have to have the indicators the same colour.
-
Yeah I think its a momo monte carlo.... and not as nice as I thought they were :( Although I suppose thats not going to be the most flattering picture
-
Looking through the wheels on that link Gibber posted.... and it has a very similar shape to the Momo Monte Carlo...
-
The seats are Corbeau TRS's - http://eurosportacc.com/seating.htm Had a look for Italovanti steering wheels, but couldn't find many... anyone got any other ideas?
-
rear axle bushes ey? I'll have a look at that, I didn't loosen any bolts, so I may be buying some new ones of them :?
-
I don't need anymore excuses not to go to uni  I raised the back 10mm and it looks better now.. can barely tell the difference in the picture, but it looks more even now :)
-
Found the pic on Vortex... simple, but nice :) Anyone know what it is? Cheers, Chris
-
I've got 5mm spacers on mine, and think they should be spaced out more... mainly at the back. Considering making some 15mm or 20mm spacers for them instead.
-
I think they look best with a grille spoiler (like on Banana Mans photoshop) but without that they make the car look like its on crack!
-
I already have eibach ARB's and a front strut brace installed :( maybe a rear strut brace would help...? it sounds like most of the knocks etc. are coming from the back, so maybe...
