We're all a bit mad, especially those of us the return for more punishment. Looks good though -
I did read a while back that Audi were pulling out of DTM to go into F1

I've always liked Alpine gear, heres a couple of direct replacement Alpines http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Corrado-Front-Dash-speaker-kit-Alpine-car-speakers-180W-Max-/111537852656?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19f82c90f0 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Corrado-rear-hatch-speakers-Alpine-car-speaker-kit-150W-Max-power-4x6-/111537852654?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19f82c90ee I assume they are real and not cheap copies but it would be worth doing some homework

They look good I guess I'll hold up from smoothing my roof just yet :)
-
Spot on, thats almost what I did except I left the sealer on
-
Nice work, I like a nice simply smoothed bay
-
Sounds like you got another good-un
-
That looks quite close to the proper VW stuff This is what I'll be using for alot of the sealing on mine, its amazing stuff for sealing and for holding bits in place and stopping squeaks and rattles VW part number is AKD-497-010-04-R10

Corrado Part Duex - 24V Aqua Blue - She's gone.

Like that Sean, -
I have just had my mech apart and found the spindle were worn and started rusting where they go through the bearing, might be worth disconnecting the motor to see if the mech moves freely. I had the same slow wipers on an Audi caused by rust in the bearings.

I had a Jetex on my Bora, it was quiet which was good for me but I found the Miltek I replaced it with gave better power I do again have a Jetex to go on my rado 1.8t when its back on the road, its one of the few that has a 2.5" bore, and hopefully it will be as quiet as my Bora 1.8t was. I had a superspint on my old G60 which fitted well and sounded good
-
How much you looking to spend, I have this lot that I may be persuaded to sell ;)
-
love it, roof look great, no having to find some decent roof trims
-
top notch work as always
-
why does it cost more by direct debit, I saw a new tax form the other day and the direct debit was cheaper because it saved them some time/paperwork
-
This was summed up rather well a couple of years ago when Audi made an advert for the R8 that showed all the parts coming together nicely, Renault followed that with one showing everything being thrown at their car... Audi Renault

I must admit, for the pinnacle of motorsport, all the new rules are not making it better and are costing the little teams a fortune. We supply TPMS to most of the grid and for next year the FIA have made a new rule for the size/height of the wheels sensor so its not above the bead line, that means a re-design of our sensor which will cost thousands in testing to be sure it doesn't break under the g-forces acting on it.
